hi everyone! I'm gonna start with saying this now so I don't forget, but this story is based off of the book "Field Notes on Love" (it's really good you should read it :) ). I will change the plot as it goes on to make it my own, but the original concept came completely from that book. The characters Thomas and Newt do not belong to me, they belong to James Dashner. But, some of the other existing characters in this book do belong to me :). But as far as the story and concept, full credit to the authors of that book.

Newt is one of six, living amongst the lives of his own siblings. His British self couldn't care less when he was younger, but as he grew older and wiser, he couldn't help but wonder what his life could be like, without six copies of him dragging him down. He's always up for a little adventure, and the thrill of finally living on his own for once.

Thomas is a photographer stationed in a small
town in New York. He never could imagine a life without his moms, and his grandmother. He's never been out on his own, not even to New York City, which is just thirty minutes from his own house. Despite the constant moving in his early childhood due to his mom's job (which she later quit), he's felt as is he's never seen the world.

When the boys cross paths due to an email, a breakup, and a train ticket, they can't help but feel so alone, out on their own in a big world
