"Soul~!" you whimpered as you cried into the boys chest.

"Don't worry _____..... I'll promise to keep contact ok?" he reassured as he patted your head.

"What happens if you forget all about me!?" you cried harder. The thought of your best friend forgetting all about you, and leaving you, hurts you so much.

"_____! Are you being serious!? I'm never gonna forget you! Never in my whole entire life!" he said, voice slightly shouting.

"Y-you promise you'll come back right...." you said shakily as you looked up into his eyes.

"I promise" he said as he bent down and gently planted a kiss upon your lips.

You snapped out of the flashback you had when the teacher called your name.

'He left today 4 years ago huh....' you thought to yourself as you sat back down after answering the question. You sighed as you remembered that you and your best friend Soul had stopped contacting each other, a year after he had left.

'We were so childish back then...'

Memories of the past came flooding into your mind.

The times when you both used to play childish games and pull pranks on each other.

'I really miss those times....' You let out a shaky sigh. If you carried on thinking about him and the memories of him, you would surely break out crying.

You were walking home from a long day of school but as you were walking home, you past a park. You stopped walking and decided to walk in.

'We always used to play together in this park....' Tears started to fill your eyes.

"Urgh! Why do I keep on thinking about him!?" you shouted as you shook your head violently.

"Thinking about who?" A voice said from behind.

You turned your head around and your eyes widened. Tears were on the verge of spilling.

"Yo ____. Long time no see" the voice said.

At the moment of hearing the voice again, your tears fell and you ran up to the person.

"B-Baka! I haven't seen you or talked to you for 4 years Soul! And all you say is that!?" you cried into his chest.

"I'm so sorry _____.... I know I promised.... But at least I'm back right?" he chuckled at his last sentence and patted your head just like he used to do.

"Now let me take a good look at you..." he said as you pushed you away gently.

You rubbed your eyes and wiped some tears away.

"You've changed a lot _____" he commented.

"L-look at your self...." you replied shakily.

He looked at you before pulling you into a tight hug.

"I'm really sorry _____.... but I'm back now... and I'm never going to leave your side again...."

"P-promise...?" you asked as you buried your head in his chest.

"Promise" he said before pulling away and gently placing a kiss on your lips.
