Can you take me by surprise, and fill the hole inside my heart,

Can we talk to one another like we did from the start,

Can we go back to the past when we could make our dreams come true?

Can we go back to the times when we first said "I Love You"

Can we bring back those times when we stayed up late in the night,

All I wanna do is bring back the memories with you being the only thing in sight,

Can we go back to when we started talking on snap,

And imagining that I'd hold you close, and let you sit on my lap,

Can we bring back all the things we said on pinterest,

Can we remember all the times we said we would never lose interest?

Can we just go back to the year it all began,

When we talked about our future plans?

Now...

I can think of 10,000 reasons, or 10,000 more,

To restart our life, to have everything we didn't have before,

Lets go back in time when we both lived freely,

Swimming in the waters when our lives were so easy,

Can we go back to the days when our families were friends,

In hopes of remembering all the nights we said our love would never end,

Can we go back to the times when you were my girl, and I was your man,

Lets just go back to the beginning when we first touched hands!
