Early June, 2020
Go Eun woke up to find the notifications of 213 unread messages and 27 missed calls on her screen. 2 unread messages from Kim Shin Ahjussi, 3 from Jung Hae In. 3 from her father, 1 from her mother.
10 messages were from the Goblin group chat, 50 from the TKEM group chat, 74 from the main TKEM cast group chat, 11 from her gang of girls, 6 from her unniedeul.
53 messages from "Lee Min Ho Sunbae."
2 missed calls from her father.
And 25 from the aforementioned sunbae.
She rubbed her eyes and turned to the other side of her bed. It was 3 pm. She's been up only to drink a glass of water and went to the toilet that morning, before she collapsed back to bed.
The men that cared for you the most, Go Eun thought, were always the ones in your missed calls list. Not the messages.
She clicked the list of notifications and opened the messages from her father.
"Good job for finishing the filming. Come home when you can."
She smiled.
"Thank you, Appa. I'll let you know when I'm going home. Still need to sleep a lot."
Her father replied a few minutes later.
"Ahrasseo. Rest a lot and don't skip meals."
"Ne......"
She then waited for a bit, before reaching for her phone again, and read his messages.
"Are you asleep?"
"Let's VC if you're still up."
"I miss you already."
"Good morning. Are you up yet?"
"Eunni-yah, what do you want for breakfast?"
"Shall I buy you breakfast and send it to your place?"
"It's so strange knowing filming is over and we wouldn't work together anymore."
"Cham, I finally get it. After a project is done, you sleep like the dead."
"Shall I buy you lunch and send it to your place?"
"I miss you. Please wake up."
"Yah...... Kim Go Eun......."
"Love, wake up please......"
She's smiling reading through his texts, and ended up chuckling.
And he saw that his messages was read, so he video called her.
Go Eun had time to only clean the corners of her eyes before clicking the green button.
"Aigoo....... Finally....... " he exclaimed in a relieved tone.
"Annyeong" she smiled sleepily.
Min Ho peered at his screen. She's wearing her pajamas and was still looking half asleep.
"Yeppeuda" he smiled.
"Cheesiness first thing after I wake up" she stated.
They just stared at each other over the screen. He was wearing his trademark white t-shirt, and Go Eun wondered, must he looked that good in a mere video call?
