Final fight!!

Walking through the corridor again, (Y/n) was lost in thought more than usual. Things were coming back more and she was happy but what led her to that long restless slumber she was in? She was brought back from a loud and booming voice calling out to her. She wasn't happy with the person it was. "Yes Todoroki." she addressed the flaming man. He glared at the girl and she returned it. He soon walked away without another word. She ignored it and walked to her respective tunnel. She was to fight the boy and so that would be a good reason why his father would be there to scope out the competition. His presence annoyed her though. "The final fight is upon us people! We have our sweet but deadly (Y/n) (L/n)!" she didn't hold her usual smile which was off putting to some of her peers. As she walked to the ring she looked across to see the gorgeous male making direct eye contact. His mood looked just as sour as her was. "Whoa don't know which one gives me more chills. Him or her?" mic said as she glared up at the man. "OOO scary, well enough stalling. Fight!" Shoto wasted no time and sent a large wave of ice to the girl yet she kicked right through it. One of the shards just so happened to soar back to the boy and cut his cheek.

He wiped it with his thumb and flung it off of his finger. She ran for him but was slower than usual, she was worn out. He swiped his hand and the large glacier went to pierce the girl but she punched through it. The boy's mind instantly went to deku, she was using strength just as he did. Did he give her blood while he wasn't looking, that thought was enough to drive him. He had this weird weight on his chest and he hated it not to mention the girl was taunting him. "This is getting old! Fight me with all you have!" she swept his feet from under him yet was pushed back by a pillar of ice. Yet in that moment she was able to get a lick of the cut. "This weak resolve won't help you in the future, you will just wallow in this hole that you have created!" she sent her own pillar to him and zipped up towards him. He was stuck with doing close combat since she kept running up to him and cancelling his attack with her own.

"These were your powers to control you idiot! He can't control you by them so it is up to you and whether he controls your life." she punched him in the jaw but he countered right after with a kick to her stomach. "Shut up." he spoke out, she gritted her teeth. "You won't win if you half ass it!" she looked at him sternly. "Give me your all! Please!" He was shocked, why was she trying so hard? He remembered that day, the day he got the god forsaken scar. He blamed his father for his mother's downfall and swore he would never use the side of himself that represented his old man. "Shoto, it is a part of you that you can't get rid of. So embrace it!" her encouragement seemed to spike something in him. His heart was pumping and his left side was ablaze, the girl steadied her laboring breath. She was pushing herself all day, she knew she wouldn't win but it was nice that she somehow got through to the boy. "I hope you're ready." he spoke out to her as she held his gaze. She gave a playful smile and cocked her hand back as he did the same. "Boy am I? Let's get this over with shall we?" he nodded and as he swept his hand, a trail of fire followed and a huge glacier of ice flowed from the girls. "Look at this face off folks, and um Endeavor giving encouragement? Watch closely! You don't wanna miss this."

"Midnight! If they keep going it'll be bad!" Cementoss yells out as he sends his concrete wall out between the two. "I know that!" Midnight yelled back as she sent out her quirk. As the girl sent her ice out he sent his flames. "(Y/n)-" she heard him call. "Thank you." as their attacks collided the wall took most of the damage but it still destroyed parts of the stadium, while also sending the two opponents flying back. When the smoke began to clear it was obvious who the winner was. "Shoto Todoroki has been declared the winner of the sports festival!" The stadium was quiet but soon was filled with the cheers of the crowd. The girl laid against a pillar of ice that was outside the ring, she had scorch marks scattered across her body. A permanent grimace was on her face and she couldn't bother to open her eyes. "Its hurts." was all she could croak out as she was being transported quickly to the infirmary. Todoroki wanted to go see her but what exactly could he say? Sorry? Would she care for one of those? Maybe he could give her blood to speed the healing process. I mean he did cause her to be in pain so it was the least he could do.
