Aurora Romano was born into a family she did not belong to. Her mother and father both are social elites from the Upper East Side who own a flourishing business. Growing up, Aurora became aware that their business was actually a front for the Romano Mafia, one of the most powerful mafia families in the world. Instead of following the family legacy, Aurora disobeys her parents by attending college, choosing to leave the mafia world behind her.
However, one does not choose to join or leave the mafia world.
Aurora realizes that when at one of her usual Romano family party she runs into a familiar pair of enemy eyes. Now on the run and forced to work with the enemy mafias prince she is hit with painful memories from the past while also dealing with some unfamiliar feelings she must get under control.
