"Weasley clan we are leaving in 5 minutes if you aren't downstairs by then you will be staying here with me all school year!" Mrs Weasley yelled at the bottom of the stairs.
I kinda just laughed knowing she wanted us to leave just as bad as we did. As I was putting my owl Leda into her cage Ginny came into my room and sat on my bed and looked at me.
"Yes Ginny? What is it?" I asked her with a little laugh knowing she only does this when she has something to tell me. "So Harry sent me a letter last night saying how excited he is to see me again because he misses me. Do you think that means anything? Do you think he feels the same?" She asked all in one breath.
I laughed while sitting next to her and putting my hand on her shoulder while she gave me a little pity puppy dog face. "Ginny i have been telling you this for 2 years and I will probably keep telling you the same thing. Harry does like you, he's just a awkward boy who can't express his feelings very well in person. So either you have to make the first move or let things happen." Ginny signed and walked out to finish packing her trunk.
"Need help with anything Y/N?" Ron asked while standing in my door way as the twins pushed past him while running downstairs. "uh I don't think so. Leda just won't stay in her cage." I said with a little laugh. Ron laughed while he turned around and headed down the stairs.
I finally got Leda to settle in her cage and i started down the stairs. Once i got downstairs Mrs Weasley was running around hustling everyone and everything around getting ready to leave. The twins were in the kitchen when i went to get some toast for the road.
They came up behind me which made me jump a little. "So Y/N year 5 are you ready?" Fred said looking over at George. "Oh yeah finally gonna make your move on Malfoy?" George said with a laugh while Fred ooed.
"I dont know what you boys are talking about." I said walking away. "Cmon we see how you look at him." Fred said with a wink. "Boys i hate that kid, you know this." I stuffed my mouth with toast hoping that would get them to stop talking.
"Not when you guys are alone. i see sparks." Fred smiled. "Oh yeah you guys ooze chemistry." George laughed proud of himself. "I'm walking away now boys." I said giving them nasty looks whiling turning around heading to the car. I could hear them high five and laughing behind me, I just rolled my eyes and got into the car next to Ginny.
The whole ride to the train station I just tuned out all the noise and looked out the window. Ever since the twins brought up Draco i couldn't stop thinking about him and how excited i was to see him. He sent a couple letters over the summer holiday but they were mostly just boring stuff he's doing for his dad.
When Fred brought up how Draco and I act alone with each other made me wonder if he was being serious. But it also made me wonder if other people knew. Draco is the bad boy Slytherin that all the girls chased and when he's with his friends he acts all bad and wants to be seen as the mean boy.
But when him and I go on our nightly walks down by the river when it's just us 2, he's just a normal sweet boy who wants to be out of his fathers control. I had a thing for him since year 1 and it never really gone away but I just keep it hidden pretty well.
I got shaken out of my trance when Ginny gave me a little push telling me we were here. I nodded and everyone filed out of the car like clowns. We all said bye to Mrs Weasley and went through the 9 3/4 platform.
As we all broke off into our friend groups on the train Ginny and I found Hermione and went in for a big group hug. We followed her into where Harry and Ron were already sitting and sat down.
"So tell me everything! What did you guys do this summer? Anything fun? My family and I took a trip to America. It was pretty weird but so much fun!" Hermione said very excited to finally catch up. We all laughed, "Bloody hell Hermione calm down the train isn't even moving yet" Ron laughed giving her an odd look.
Hermione blushed while slouching in her seat. I laughed a little while looking out into the hall hoping the trolley would come by, the toast I had this morning wasn't very filling.
Instead Draco walked by with his friends wearing a black button up with the first 3 buttons undone and black dress pants. I felt my face get hot I saw his smile and heard his adorable laugh. Hermione and Ginny both popped up behind me also staring at him.
"So any Malfoy news?" Hermione whispered giving me a little shove with a smirk. I looked over at Ron and Harry who were looking out the window. "i'll tell you about it later when dumb and dumber aren't around." We all laughed and the boys gave us a weird look and then looked at each other and shrugged then looked back outside.
"So is this year gonna be the year? Are you finally gonna tell him?" Ginny said with so much hope in her voice. "You know i cant. I'm just gonna let him do his thing and I'm gonna do my thing. But i want this year to be the year i found out what really happened to my parents."
They both smiled at me and then the train started to move and there started my 5th year.
