A Candle Dies

In the corner of the room
A candle burns
Its flames flickering
Against the dark edges of wall
Light dances gracefully
Twirling around the room
It started out bright
But slowly, overtime
Candles lose their light
Just like this flame
Hope dies out
Gradually becoming rare
When hope dies
When flames grow darker in the night
Anger, sadness and fear
Will soon be bubbling near
This single solitary candle
Knows it's end is near
That it would start dying
That death will be coming near
