Sabé, or more commonly known as queen Amidala was a very regal person but wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty. Yes, Padme was the real ruler of Naboo but to me that just makes Sabé even more awesome, the fact she was willing to give her life to something she deeply cared about. She appears only in movie 1 a phantom menace but she never appears to get killed in the movie. It is entirely possible she died from natural causes or in a different battle in between movies, or maybe she was such a good bodyguard Padme lat he retire. Who knows not me so don't ask me!
