where are we standing today?

So, this is just some random thoughts I'm sharing today, it's not a poem.

What are we doing?
Where are we standing today?

Our life was flowing so perfectly, in an order of perfection, that we forgot everything

We forgot our GOD , we forgot what we have is what HE gave us

So yesterday, when a lot of us were standing on the verge of destruction
We realized

We realized how far we have gotten from humanity, from love, sanity
We became robots

We forgot the rules of life

So, when we suddenly had a pandemic
When we lost our businesses
When lost our livestock
When we lost our loved ones

We came to realize that there were other people living inside our houses
We realized how much our children had made us proud
We realized how much our mother has aged
We realized that father was retired long ago
We realized how much we missed our sibling time
WE REALIZED,
how much life we had passed just in blur

We realized that just in a matter of seconds everything could end

We realized we had GOD that made us for a purpose
The purpose we seem to have forgotten in the crowd of this world

BUT,

No matter how many difficulties we had to pass through
No matter how much struggle we had to make
No matter the nights we had to stay awake just because we didn't know tomorrow we would be alive or not

We were together

Maybe our faith became stronger
Maybe our hearts were mended
Maybe differences were sorted
Maybe we found our family

We were far across the countries in the world
Still, we were together

We knew that others shared the same pain as us
We knew what they were going through

Maybe for the first time in many years people were closed to their loved ones
People were worried for complete strangers

Maybe we had to keep distance physically, but mentally...
We sure were connected to GOD and HIS mankind.
