- 'I think you should have the dinner with Jimin, to also get to know him.' I carefully suggested, the thing was that I feared for Jimin's life and if Yoongi knew more about him it might be more difficult to kill him. Yoongi raised his eyebrow at me

- 'he is Taehyung's right hand'

- 'yes but he is also a good man'

He rolled his eyes at me

-'and Jungkook has betrayed me, that's a death sentence'

My eyes widened, while Yoongi said in such a random formal way, like it was nothing

-'no please'

-'you do know he betrayed you right?' Yoongi asked confused 'and that's why you are here?'

-'yes but that's because you forced him to, like probably Taehyung is forcing him to betray you now. I got to know Jungkook and like Jimin he is a good man'

Yoongi rolled his eyes but then smirked at me

- 'You are much like Namjoon, I think you two would be a good match'

This remark came completely out of the blue and my cheeks turned pink

-'what do you mean by that?' I asked indignant

He smirked at me

-'well he also defends the men often, talking about good and bad. Besides you two like to read and discuss these theories, you both are much into ethics as it seems. I mean I just like to play chess and drink whiskey'

I didn't really know what to say and thus we finished the dinner silently

as I returned to the cell I looked back at Yoongi

-'can I please walk outside tomorrow again?'

he shook his head

- 'this week not, you blew that chance but perhaps next week'

the next day Yunho arrived and I was confused, did Yoongi want to have dinner again?

Yunho stopped at Jimin's cell

-'the captain invites you for dinner'

-'you can tell your captain to fuck off' Jimin grunted

-'Jimin' I snapped looking at him with begging eyes

-'fine I'll go'

I stayed up waiting for Jimin to return as I wanted some sort of report of how the dinner was. Considering he was gone for quite some time I think they talked and that would be good for the chance of his survival.

Finally I heard noises and Jimin was back again.

-'how did it go?' I asked impatiently

he shrugged 'it was fine, the guy is apparently greatly interested in chess and whiskey, we played chess as I am pretty good at it, so yeah'

-'what did you think of him?'

-'he is a sarcastic asshole?' Jimin answered

-'sounds like yourself'

-'whatever, I am going to sleep, the whiskey made me tired'

and with that the conversation was seemingly over. at least there was perhaps some use for Jimin and that for me was the goal.

Time passed and I still had dinner with Yoongi twice a week, it seemed Jimin was also asked a lot for dinner well, for chess playing.

We were allowed one by one to go on the deck but Yoongi didn't trust us enough to let us go at the same time, I couldn't blame him for that honestly

I sat on the deck looking in the distance when Namjoon sat down next to me

-'I got you something; he excitedly said while handing me a super old book

-'it's my favorite' he added and I inspected the book

-'uhm thank you' I replied, pretty grateful as it was something to pass the time with plus the fact he was sharing something personal like that kind of was nice as well

-'seems you all are settling on this ship, even Jimin' Namjoon carefully said on to which I didn't really reply

-'it's especially impressive of you, you were never on the sea right?'

-'yeah, true I never came in contact with a pirate my entire life'

-'then all of this must be overwhelming'

'it was mainly at the beginning'

I didn't want to share that much personal information with him and my tactic therefore was to ask him some personal question instead.

-'but why are you a pirate? you seem to be very morally right' I asked and Namjoon laughed

-'well, who decides what is right and wrong?'

It was silent for a moment and I knew he was right, it was exactly the question I asked myself when I was on Taehyung's ship

He smiled at me 'you know what I mean'

-'But I joined because I was living in a village and we paid those taxes to the east asian trading company, of which your brother is a member, but people were starving. Like my family. we were sharing little food and then I was in Busan once and I saw the luxury some officers were enjoying and it infuriated me. Why did we almost starve but needed to pay taxes while they received money they didn't need? I met Yoongi in a bar once, I didn't know he was a pirate captain but we started talking and we shared that ideology, and so we developed the mission to steal from the EATC and give those treasures back to the people'

-'like robin hood?' I asked

he chuckled 'yes something like that'

I felt ashamed for the luxury that I had lived in my whole life while people were starving.

'you're eating yourself up like this y/n' Namjoon said as if he was reading my mind

-'you didn't know what was happening outside of your own home'-'isn't that a bad excuse though?' I said because that was the truth it was a bad excuse-'I read books, I read about starvation, I didn't know it was really happening but wasn't that my own naivety'

For some reason I felt emotional

Namjoon placed his hand on mine

-'hey maybe it was, but you are now in a different situation, you can learn from this'

-'hmm' -'come on let's go for some rum' he then said and I chuckled-'nothing that some alcohol can't fix is there?''exactly'
