hi and welcome to "a teen's guide to covid-19"
i'm sunflowrly, an average teenager who's been quarantined since early march.
i got bored during an online class and started writing this
please do NOT take my word as the end-all-be-all. i am not an expert in any way, shape or form. all of this is based on my experiences and what I've seen others say.
general reminder: take your meds if you need to or get a responsible adult to give them to you, eat something (nutritious if you can but i know it's hard for some of us), drink some water (any type of liquid is good but water is best), if it's past 11 pm go to sleep or at least dim the brightness on your device, stretch your legs, go for a walk around the house
for lgtbtq+ people: if you wear a chest binder and have had it on for more than 8 hours, take a break, if you're feeling like hurting yourself, talk to somebody even if it's on some random online chatroom. you're valid, you matter, and you are IMPORTANT, even if you don't feel like it. if you need to talk, i'm here.
for anybody else, if you're feeling like hurting yourself or somebody else, throwing something, if you need to talk to somebody, if you're hurting inside, or outside, even if you feel you don't deserve it, please please please just send me a message or reach out to somebody else. no matter how stupid it seems or what time it is.
you matter MORE.
ok now i'm done being sappy peoples. let's get on with it
