"What? What are you saying?" This time Jubin asked.

"That we are not divorced" Folding her hand to her chest she said like this was the most normal thing.

"But....." only a word came out from Jubin's mouth and he looked here and there like he was in a dream.

Payal clutched his hand tightly and asked "Did you get any official papers of our divorce Jubin?"

"No" Jubin shakes his head.

Payal smiled a little "That's because I didn't signed the divorce papers"

Holding her other hand, he asked her again "But you did......."

Payal chuckled and said "Yes, I signed it but not as Payal as Mirza Khatoon, go and check those papers"

"But........." Jubin wanted to ask her further, ask her if she was not joking with him, but got interrupted by a phone call.

"Hello" Payal picked up the call and asked from the person on the other side.

"I...I am coming" hearing what the person on the other side is saying she stammers and starts crying.

Jubin held her by her shoulder and asked worriedly "Payal, why are you crying?"

"Baba, his health, I have to go to Pathankot as soon as possible" Payal was not able to say more words and she rushed outside the hotel.

"Ok, I am coming with you" Jubin didn't want to leave her in this state, so he followed her.

Payal stopped in her track ad said "No"

Jubin looked in her eyes and requested "Payal, please"

Shaking her head at him she went out of the hotel.

After 5 hours they were in a city hospital of Pathankot.

Finding the nurse Payal has appointed for her father, she asked her "How's he?"

The nurse gave her a sympathetic look and said "We are operating him soon" and went away from there.

Payal started crying for her father when Jubin assured her "Payal everything will be alright"

"Who is Payal here" Someone called out for her.

"I am" Looking at the person she said.

He came to her and handed her a paper "Patient is calling you and you have to sign these consent paper"

Jubin snatched the papers from her hand and said "I will do it, Payal you go to uncle"

Person asked him "You are?"

"My husband" Payal answered him this time and went to her father.

"Payal, I'm sorry dear" As Payal reached to her father, he looked at her with apologetic eyes and whispered.

"No, abbu don't talk please" He was in pain, and Payal can't see this and was about to go from there, when her father whispers again to stop her "You forgave me na Payal?"

Payal held his hand and assured him "You didn't do anything wrong, now please."

They both were waiting in the waiting room, waiting for the news for her father's news, waiting to start a conversation between them, clearing his throat Jubin said "Everything will be alright."

Waiting for sometime he asked his next question which he was itching to ask "Why did you......."

But before he could complete his question, she answered him "I loved you Jubin, I still do"

Jubin heart started beating loudly hearing her confession, which he wanted to hear, which he never hoped to hear, his next question flew from his mouth unconsciously "Why didn't you tell me?"

Payal turned to him, stared into his eyes and said "You also didn't tell me, didn't share with me, just you read those messages and decided everything that I want to see Payal happy, Payal happiness is not with me and blah, blah.... You know Jubin after you give me to that Fawad he showed his true colors, he tried to rape.....I was scared Jubin, scared of my future, about my dignity but my father saved me from him but Fawad filled his mind with his words and my own father started hating me, hating me Jubin"

Looking into her eyes, he found that what she is saying is true, he apologized "I...I'm sorry"

"You are not forgiven" Averted her gaze and she snapped at him.

After 7 hours, the doctor came out from the OT, Jubin and Payal got up from their seats and asked "Doctor how's he?"

Doctor gave them an assurance smile and said "Congratulation, operation is successful he will be alright."

Payal chuckled in happiness and hugged Jubin forgetting all her complaints.
