"Are you ready to go?"

A simple question that can be answered through yes or no. But in case of an individual whose having a dilemma in between, Cairo's answer would be maybe.

Maybe yes, cause it's settled. Maybe no, cause he's emotionally struggling.

Cairo tried his best to hide all the pain that lingered him since this morning. He faced the person who was the reason why he did not want to leave to bid farewell.

"I'll see you again. I shall see you again." Cairo said while looking at his eyes with an assurance where in fact, he wasn't sure when he would see him again. If he would be able to see him again.

"Mag-iingat ka baby boy." a girly voice stopped the massive wavelength through their windows of soul as Cairo was the first one to cut the gaze.

Cairo gave Pearl a genuine smile. "I'll miss you too, best girl."

Cairo get his bag  to put it on the airport stroller and for the final moment he smiled at them but this time, it didn't reach his eyes as he remembered all good memories he once created with these two people who have a very special place in his heart.

He didn't waved goodbye.

He just keep on walking as couple of tears ran on his face.

While heading to the airport's gate, he remember all their conversation earlier with the person whom he adored the most.

"Pagdating natin sa airport huwag kang magpapaalam ha. Kase I'll make sure na magkikita pa rin tayo. As in huwag, baby! Tsaka-"

"Baby, relaxed lang."

Gavreel just snuggled himself close to Cairo while hiding his face on his neck.

"Oh my ghad, Gav! Why so chessy? Err..." Pearl said out of the blue while rolling her eyes out of annoyance.

Gavreel yelled to Pearl who's currently driving."Mag-drive ka na nga lang diyan Mayora!"

"Whatever!

Cairo laughed at Pearl's complaints and turns his head to Gavreel " I love you, baby."

Gavreel leaned his head on his lover's shoulder. "Mas mahal kita baby."

Cairo felt wet tears fallen from his eyes as he tried to supress his cries every moment he remembered Gav's words. He felt like he was oddly detached from his physical body and his soul was left there, together with him.

The moment he stepped on the gate, he slowly turned around to see at least one last glimpse from his lover.

But he's not there anymore.

He wanted to go back but he needed to leave.

He looked but it's too late.

Was it a good decision that he proceeded to his original plan or must he have any regrets that he looked back?
