We were the only ones on the plane, besides the one flight attendant that clearly wanted to sleep with Alexander. Me and Dennis were sitting in the back, so we had the view of Jacqueline sitting to our right, and Alexander to the left. They clearly hadn't fixed their problems yet. We were holding hands, and my head was resting in his shoulder. Despite that fact that we hadn't even been away from each other for that long, I felt like I hadn't seen him in ages.

"Is there anything I can get you?" the blonde blue-eyed flight attendant asked us. I shook my head.

"Aren't you hungry?" Dennis turned to me. I sat straight in my seat. I was hungry, actually.

"A little." I told Dennis. "Maybe some crackers." you could probably tell, but I didn't travel by plane very often. The flight attendant smiled and nodded. I leaned against the window this time, admiring the view of the world under the moonlight.

I turned back to Dennis and I saw him look at Alexander with that deadly look he usually gave him. I wondered what the big deal was. I mean, Alexander had kidnapped me and probably scared Dennis to death, but this hatred between them felt so much deeper. Like it was bigger than just me. It probably had something to do with the alleged girl Dennis had taken from Alexander, but I couldn't know for sure. I sighed and leaned on Dennis' shoulder once again. Alexander looked at us for a second, and then he turned his eyes back to the window.

"Is everything okay?" I asked Dennis. He grunted in affirmation. "Are you sure?" I didn't want to be the insisting girlfriend type, but I wanted to communicate with him, and it felt like he'd put up a wall.

"Yes." he said, without taking his eyes off Alexander. I didn't know what else to do. Maybe he thought something had happened between us. I mean, if I were in his position, I wouldn't want to leave my girlfriend alone with Alexander for more than five minutes, but he knew better than that. He knew I wouldn't do that to him, right? "You don't think Alexander and I...?" I started whispering, and I immediately noticed Alexander's face light up with a smile. He'd heard me. Dennis stopped me from finishing by putting his finger on my lips.

"He can hear you." he said. Yeah, I'd noticed. "Don't give him the satisfaction of wasting your beautiful voice talking about him." he said. Alexander looked at me from across the length of the plane and he smiled flirtatiously. He wanted to provoke Dennis, and I wouldn't allow it.

So, I did what I thought would assure Dennis I loved him. I kissed him. I kissed him hard and for long, like we were alone. I'd missed his lips so much, his way of holding me tight when he kissed me. I wanted more, but we couldn't just sneak out to the bathroom and have sex. I couldn't do it knowing Alexander and Jacqueline would hear it. So, I had to do the hard thing and pull away from him. Alexander was now looking at the window again, and Jacqueline was looking at her phone.

"I love you." I whispered to Dennis' lips. He smiled.

"I love you." he whispered back. I knew Alexander and Jacqueline were listening, but I didn't care.

Then I saw Alexander call the flight attendant over in the corner of my eye. I separated from Dennis when I saw Alexander stick his fangs into her wrist. I thought of screaming, but it felt pointless. Dennis wasn't worried for her, so I thought I didn't need to be worried either.

"Anybody want a snack?" he offered, with his fangs still out and his mouth and teeth dripping with blood. I swallowed, disgusted.

"I do." Jacqueline replied.

I noticed the flight attendant didn't even scream, she just moaned a little, like she liked it. She wasn't being compelled either, she was willing to offer her blood to them. I wondered why. Alexander stood up and he offered the girl's wrist to Jacqueline. She shook her head.
