I immediately jumped up out of my bed only to find 7 other girls giggling at me with a huge ass pot in their hand. I looked them up and down like they were crazy cause who the fuck-.

"Now why would yall do some dumb shit like dat," I asked mugging them

"Guhh Shutup with them raggedy-ass shoes" One of them mumbled pointing to my airforces that they had messed up yesterday after I worked my ass off fa' them.

"At least I got some new shoes..what yall been doing? Oh, that's right wearing the same tow-up ass shoes now leave me alone fo I go snitch." I bucked at them and they jumped back

I laughed walking into the bathroom. Wassam y'all. My name is Kenlie (Ken-lee) and I am 13 years old. I live in an orphanage since my mom passed away giving birth to me while my father ran off on us. Living here has been a living hell, sadly. I've been adopted over 10 times and I still somehow end up here again.

It's either my adoptive parents were abusive, strict, rude, or crazy and that shit wasn't fa me. Luckily we have another person coming in today. The owner says the dude is famous ah sum like that but I wasn't stressed since I know I'm not gon get picked.

I still got dressed though. I just threw on some regular jeans and a Tupac shirt with sum slides. I did all my hygiene before I got dressed.

"Kenlie! They hea!" One of them ghetto ass girls screamed from downstairs

I hurried down the stairs only to see somebody's foot in front of the last step I was finna take. I saw it right before I tripped in front of it. That shit hurt like a bitch but I got up anyway. I turned around to see one of my favorite rappers. Nba Youngboy! I am embarrassed as hell.. maneeeeee.

"Sorry, she's a Lil clumsy" one of the girls giggled

I quickly turned to look at her before looking at the lady who was sitting down at the desk.

"Miss lady can you tell ha to shut up fo I punch ha in ha shit?" I turned to the lady at the desk

"Girls behave," She said firmly

"But she-" "Kenlie!" She yelled, interrupting me

"Mmcht you lucky ian punch you in yo shit too with that tow up ass wig" I mumbled under my breath, but I think Yb, and one of the dudes behind him heard me cause they started laughing.

"Sorry for being late" The owner walked in here

"Nawl you good" Yb shrugged

"Alright, so here we have lined up Brea, Hailey, Jaeisha, Lailani, Barbian, Niari, Ziya, and that one right there is Kenlie." He pointed to me

"I wouldn't recommend her, she has a smart mouth and a bad attitude. That's why the other people returned her." I heard him whisper while the other girls laughed at me

My eyes started to water, but I ignored them looking down at my feet.

"That was fucked up" I heard a big-eared dude say from behind Yb

"It's the truth, nobody wants her." The owner shrugged

I felt tears come rushing down my cheeks, and I tried wiping them away so the others wouldn't notice.
