/// Just a heads up before this chapter starts; I am drinking a cup of tea called "Sweet Dreams" which is what you have before you go to sleep to make you sleepy since its 10 o'clock already so the chapter might progressively get worse as I start to doze off, so I apologize for that haha. It's already late and I am just starting to write this, and it takes me a few hours per chapter usually so...yeah! Hope you enjoy nonetheless (: x ///

Niall's POV

"No, no no no no," I mumble while pacing back and forth; fingers peeling the hair off of my scalp.

"Niall! Jesus, look at me and tell me what the hell is going on! You look like a mad man," Harry bickers, and then proceeds to grab me by my shoulders, shaking me a bit.

"It's-it's," I try to begin, but my thoughts are so flustered I can't form words let alone a sentence. My eyes are darting around the room, as if an answer is written somewhere telling me what to do now.

"Allyson, I know it's about her, but what the hell happened that is making you act so...insane?" his eye lids droop along with his eyebrows in a look of genuine concern for my mental and emotional stability.

"They found out," are the first coherent words to slip from my lips.

"Who's they? What did they find out?" Harry's tone tenses and the volume raises as does his level of worry.

"Everyone. Everyone found out about Allyson," I tell him, but his expression doesn't change.

"Found out what about her?" he interrogates again.

"They just found about her. Now she's going to get attention and she's going to be followed and people are going to take pictures of her and-" my anxiety starts to go out of control again, until Harry snaps me out of it once more.

"Okay, you need to calm down. There are worse things than a little bit of attention. Didn't she understand that would come with dating someone with such a big fan base as you?" his eyebrows knit together in confusion as his game of twenty questions continues.

"Well, yes, but she wasn't ready. And the pictures on Ellen...it was too soon. Especially since I never clarifed we aren't actually a couple anymore, and now everyone's going to think we are," I sigh.

Since the day I screwed up the one thing I actually loved in my life, every event to follow has crashed down with it. It's like a domino effect; a really terrible, ruthless, dreadful game I can't seem to win since the blocks just won't stop toppling over along with everything else in my life that matters to me.

"You know, that can't be a terrible thing, right? I mean, think about it. Since you're so head over heels for her, and everyone else seems to think you are dating, maybe she will reconsider getting back with you? I mean it's a long shot, but with a hot ticket like you, it's a chance you should be willing to take," he smirks at me, a pats me on the back after letting go of my shoulders.

"I don't know, Harry..." I sigh again, and examine the rug below us that seems much more interesting than having a conversation in the moment.

"I hate to see you so glum, cheer up," he says while flicking me on the ear.
