birthdays

the number on the sun is 35
the days until my birthdays
the number goes down every time the sun goes up
the number on the moon is 330
the number goes up every time the moon goes down
when the moon hits 365 and the sun hits 0 it'll be my birthdays

the sun is 50 and the moon is 315
the days until your birthdays
and when the moon hits 365 and the sun hits 0
it'll be your birthdays

when our birthdays pass
it resets
and we all see our own numbers
the sun says 365 and the moon says 0
and when its our birthdays again
the sun says 0 and the moon says 365
but the cool part is
some of us see the same numbers
because some of us share birthdays

this is how time is measured here
because instead of time being one thing it's many things
and we all have our own time
we can see it on the moon and sun
and we keep track of how many times it resets
that's birthdays for us
when the sun and moon reset

the sun and moon have reset for me 16 times so far
that is how old i am
in 35 more days it will have reset for me 17 times

here we don't have night
instead we just have days
our days are split into two parts called sun day and moon day
that is why instead of calling it birthday we call it birthdays

if you want to remember when someone's birthdays are
you have to remember what numbers you're at when they reset
make sure you remember what your numbers are when your friends reset
so you can wish them a happy birthdays

I'm sorry if things are hard to understand
things are very complicated here
but things are very complicated there too
your birthdays are very different
you have years and months not just days
and you guys don't reset like we do
