Take me back to a place;
Where you and I can be the best of friends,
Even if the world ends.
For all of the love we couldn't survive,
And carried with us
A graveyard inside;
Let me unleash that love for you,
Before whispering a fond adieu.
They said love is reckless,
You told me love is endless,
In my own world I was so mesmerized;
How come I never realized,
That everyone's being pretentious.
I want to be beside you,
When I stop breathing.
Watch the world turn blue,
Just before leaving.
I often say I'm fine;
But my soul is shattered.
My brain's haywire,
My memories are scattered.
If what they say about heaven is true;
And you promise me not once but twice,
Then maybe this world is a living hell,
And my death is my paradise!
