As the heir of Rangsiman, Peemphat needed to go to the resort today instead of his father, who had to go see the imported exotic flowers that were just delivered. After years of trying to avoid it, in the end there was no escaping this task he really did not want to do. His father went to look at the flowers that had arrived yesterday, leaving an order that his secretary would come help teach him instead. As if he knew that if he waited until morning, Peemphat would definitely ask for help.

“Hello, Anop,” Peemphat raised his hand to respect the elderly man who had just walked into the house, greeting him with respect as if he was an another relative.

"Hello, Khun Peemphat ." He’s known his boss' son since childhood. Even so, they always respect each other. "Do you know about today's work?"

"I know." Peemphat sighed.

Although Wiboon gave Peemphat the freedom to live his life the way he wanted, he knew in his heart his father wanted them to work together as well. Fortunately, Peemphat loves flowers. Although he doesn’t like management work very much, at least it’s nice that the work he will be doing is related to something he’s interested in. So, he decided that when the time came, he would do his best at his job. Only, he didn’t think it would come so soon.

"Don't worry too much. You definitely still have your freedom. I just want you to come and see some of the changes in the resort.” Noppawat's comforting words seemed to be quite effective. Peemphat secretly sighed and went back to acting like a young master.

"Then, please wait a moment."

"Of course."

The young master hurried to the left wing of the house and into the bedroom that had been moved to the ground floor. He grabbed a few essential items that he had prepared with him before quietly opening the door leading into the adjacent room.

"P’Jakk ..." Beautiful eyes shone brightly upon seeing the pale face of the person lying in bed. Jakkapad, without his pride or anything, looked frighteningly weak.

Peemphat put all the items on the table, being careful not to make noise and disturb the sleeping person. He sat on the side of the bed, slowly reaching out his slender white hand to lightly touch the cheek of the sick person, praying in his mind for P’Jakk’s strength to return to normal.

He’s known since yesterday he would have to go to the resort instead of his father because Noppawat called to tell him. After helping Jakkapad to the bathroom so he could take care of his business, he told him that he wouldn’t be back late today, not forgetting to ask the housemaid to take care of his food. Jakkapad did not say a single word, instead he acted as if he was always thinking about something else. Seeing that, he couldn’t help but feel guilty for bringing it up.

He felt guilty for making Jakkapad think so much ...  but he didn't regret what he said the slightest bit.

Peemphat did not expect an answer in the first place. He just wanted to let him know how important the other person was to him ... Just letting him know, that was enough.

"I will hurry back," he whispered softly and touched Jakk’s thin hand one last time before he stood, picked up the object he was holding and placed it down as planned. He then pulled the blanket to cover the person on the bed, turned around and walked out of the room at the exact same time the housemaid was about to knock on Jakkapad’s door.

"Aunt Noi, what are you doing? It's not eight o'clock yet "

“I heard Khun Peemphat say that Mr. Jakkapad rarely wakes up, so I came just in case he woke up to see if I could bring his breakfast.” Noi secretly smiled when she saw her young master had just come out of someone else’s room. Yesterday, he had insisted he would take care of Jakkapad while she was away, but she didn’t think that before going to work, he would come and take care of him again.

"P’Jakk hasn't woken up yet. Come back and check on him in an hour or two.”

"Yes, I will come back and check." Noi nodded. She stood and waited until the young master began to walk away. When she saw how much wider his back was than when he was younger, she couldn’t help but say her thoughts aloud, “Khun Peemphat is very worried about Mr. Jakkapad. I can’t help but be reminded of the past.”

Peemphat turned around and stared at her with a shocked expression. Although it is not surprising that his own father recognized Jakkapad, he didn't think that even Aunt Noi, who was a housemaid, would remember him as well.

"Aunt Noi, do you remember P’Jakk as well?"

"I remember, how can I not remember? Mr. Jakkapad was the only person young master followed closely, like sticky candy,” she giggled. “As a child Khun Peemphat liked to disappear until no one could find him. Only Mr. Jakkapad could find you. In the end, everyone would always see him giving Khun Peemphat a piggyback ride back home."

"Is that so? ..." Peemphat smiled sadly. The more he thought of the past, the more his heart hurt. "But P’Jakk doesn’t remember me at all."

"Oh, really?" The elderly housemaid’s smile slightly fell. She walked up to him and held his hand when she saw his sad face. "Did Mr. Jakkapad personally tell you that he can't remember you?"

"He remembers that he used to know me, but he can't remember the memories we had together. "

It's because it's not important ...

Noi looked at his sad face with pity. She understood how painful this was for Peemphat. The image of a little boy who was crying because his older brother refused to come to him, remains stuck in many peoples’ memories. He cried for his Jakkapad every day. It took several months for him to get better. She was a little angry at Jakkapad back then, but after learning what happened to him from her master, that anger turned into sympathy.

These poor children ... they went through so much pain.

"Khun Peemphat, please let me say something."
Dry palms lifted and gently stroked his thin shoulders, as if wanting to comfort him. The gentle eyes of those who has lived in this world longer than he has, caused him to nod and listen. “When you were young, and felt really sick, you would only call out for Mr. Jakkapad. Do you remember? When he came, you held onto him tightly and refused to let go.”

"I ..." The young man frowned. He tried to find those memories, but he couldn’t remember.

“Do you remember that you used to run to the lotus pond because you wanted to bring the lotus flower to Mr. Jakkapad? But because you couldn’t swim, you got very annoyed and jumped into the pool to collect them instead.”

"I remember that one," he remembered, smiling brightly. He still remembered how hard he cried back then when he saw Jakkapad had gotten all wet.

"And do you remember when you asked Mr. Jakkapad to live together?"

"Eh, did I really do that?" His eyes widened and he felt so embarrassed that he wanted to hit his head against a wall. But he had to keep up the rest of the appearance he still had left.

“What auntie wants to say is this.” Noi smiled when she saw his shy face. She looked at the young master with kind eyes, just like when elders wanted to teach their children. “Peoples’ memories are not equal. Some stories Khun Peemphat remembers, and some stories you don’t. It is normal for everybody. As more time passes, the memories we don’t think about often will begin to fade away. What you remember are things you think about every day, so you can remember it well, right?”

"…"

Yes ... he had been thinking about it every day since Jakkapad disappeared.

"Khun , do you know how much Mr. Jakkapad has changed? Auntie didn't believe that a gentle person like him could change this much. Auntie has always told you that the environment you are raised in, is important. Do you remember?"

“Auntie doesn't know what you have encountered, but Auntie thought you should know that. So don't be hurt if you can’t remember anything or not. "

"…"

"During the times you were happy, maybe he was crying alone.”

These words seemed to cut his heart. Peemphat opened his eyes wide, and cleared the tears that were in them.

"I ... I don’t know"

He doesn’t know what P’Jakk had gone through that caused him to change so much…

He doesn’t know how much pain P’Jakk was in when he was alone…

He doesn't know ... because he only cared about his own feelings.

"Khun Peemphat ..." A worried voice called back the person who was about to cry. Peemphat raised his arms and wiped away all the tears that had not yet been shed before he smiled at her to make her feel comfortable.

"I’m okay."

"Don't worry. We can always create new memories. "

"Thank you, Auntie Noi." Peemphat hugged the elderly woman tightly. If Aunt Noi hadn’t seen how he felt, he would have probably never had the opportunity to be reminded of what he had forgotten.

"I believe in you na. Even if you can't remember, I believe the feelings you have for each other… will never go away.” She strokes his wide back to comfort him, before turning to go help arrange the messy clothes of Peemphat. "Let's hurry and go back. "

"Yes, lets hurry back."

Noi just grinned as she watched her young master walk out of sight.

When he returned to the living room, Peemphat found that Noppawat was already waiting. The old man smiled, moving to take the document from his pocket. However, Peemphat raised his hand to stop him.

"Let's go talk in the car Nop, so we don’t waste time.”

"Okay," Noppawat said before following the tall figure outside without question.

The atmosphere in the car is not very serious, although most of the things that are discussed are work related. Peemphat carefully read the documents while listening to what his father's secretary had to say. When he didn’t know something, he asked questions immediately, because he didn’t want anything to go wrong. But it seems that the list of things he has a problem with, and is suspicious of, is endless.

"How can we be sure that the provided manager's Report will be complete in all respects?"

"In that regard, we always have people watching. Although the manager is the top position, all employees have equal rights to sue or speak directly to me or you. ”

"Doesn’t that mean if they team up we’ll never know?” Asked Peemphat while still looking down.

"That won’t happen. In every department, there are people whom we have trained ourselves. They will never betray us," Noppawat replied with confidence.

"I understand. I apologize for doubting the years of hard work they have put into building this organization.”

"I understand."

Actually, Noppawat already knew about Peemphat's character because he’s known him since childhood. Even though he is a smart man, Peemphat has a disadvantage. His boss was always talking about it.

Peemphat doesn't trust anyone ...

Whether it is a matter of friends, close people, or even work. This person only trusts a handful of people and is able to give those people jobs without worrying about it later. Which is both a disadvantage, and an advantage. The advantage is prudence. The disadvantage is that he will be too tired because he will think he has to deal with everything himself. This is a habit he still doesn’t know how to fix for his grandson.

But let it go for now, because this matter is more important …

"Did you find the way out?"

"Way out?" Peemphat looked up in a daze.

“Earlier, you looked uncomfortable, like you had hit a dead end. But when you came out again, the atmosphere changed, like you had become a different person. You seemed to have found a way out.”

"I ... is it that obvious?" said the person, gently stroking his face, smiling.

"Yes, very obvious."

"Well ... I think I've found a way out. But I don't know if the other side will open the door.”

If he opens it, it would be the happiest moment of his life. But if he doesn’t open it for him ...

Until then, he must keep his shattered heart in his hands ...

Then sit back down and assemble it back to its original state ...

Then knock on the door again ...

'If father is like the sky ... then you are the world.'

Jakkapad is not a fool ...

He knows very well who Peemphat is *
(*Whaaaaat Jak! You haven’t forgotten completely.. how happy would Peemphat be to know!!!)

But he did not expect ... he did not expect that he would become the whole world for anyone.

If he was the Jakkapad from back then, he would probably frown, look at the person who said this to him with contempt, and would think the other person was saying nonsense. But when he thought of the tears in those beautiful eyes that would begin to fall if he said it, his heart skipped a beat for a moment. In the end, thinking about it just made him confused.

He remembered that he opened his mouth as if to say something…but it was not coming from his brain; It was coming straight from his heart. In a split second, the words he didn’t choose himself, and the pounding in his chest slipped away thanks to the field workers who just walked in. This made the person, who looked like he was about to cry, hurry to stand up and go greet them, until he realized his mistake.

“I’m sorry”

Sorry about what... why do you have to apologize? Even if he says that, Jakkapad wouldn’t be able to say anything, because he doesn’t know what he is being apologized for.

He’s been searching for the answer since yesterday… but today he still can’t answer it himself.

Using both arms he sat up and leaned against the headboard. Both eyes felt heavy and were slowly falling asleep. This was probably because he only slept a little bit last night. His body is already weak, so these are his symptoms. He raised his hands to gently massage his temples until the pain started to go away. He thought about getting up to get some water, but stopped when he remembered his legs do not move as they are ordered to.

He forgot again ...

Who can get used this?

His eyes were hot, burning with rage. He clenched his hands tightly until his veins bulged visibly, then he held his hand up high hoping to hit his useless legs to vent his frustrations. But he stopped when he noticed there was something on them.

Pink post-it notes ...

Jakkapad frowned. He pulled the two papers off his legs and read the incomprehensible writing on the paper.

'I'm just not healthy. Don't hurt me. '

The corner of the reader’s mouth twitched a little. He didn’t know if the person who wrote this could see the future or not, but it seems he knew what would happen.

Jakkapad looked at the other paper. There is only an arrow pointing to the side. He turned his head in the direction of the arrow and saw there was a glass of water on the bedside table like there was every day. Except this time…

"Rose..."

The pale hand that had almost hurt itself a moment ago reached out to take a closer look at the white rose by the glass. Jakkapad looked at it for a long time. Long enough to notice that the spikes it was supposed to have, were cut off so carefully that any trace of them was barely visible.

Actually using this method, who said he wouldn’t break the glass again?

"Idiot"

His mouth said that he was an idiot ...

The tall person turned to look at the wheelchair parked next to the bed. Sharp eyes gleamed for a moment. In the end he decided to get up. He placed both of his arms on the bed to support his weight, then poured all his strength into them to move his senseless body along.

It proved to be difficult to do, since Jakkapad never intended to do this by himself. It doesn’t take a lot of time, but it requires so much strength to move that there is now sweat all over his pale face. And in the split second his hand reached out to grab the armrest; the wheelchair slid backwards…

Thud!

A tall and large body suddenly fell from the bed onto the floor, causing a resounding sound to be heard...

The sore feeling he felt in the arms that had supported his weight could not compare to the heavy feeling in his heart right now. Jakkapad clenched his teeth. There were so many emotions whirling around in his heart, he wanted to vent it out. In order to get rid of these emotions it seemed inevitable he would have to hurt himself like before. But before he could do that…

"P’Jakk!" A shocked cry that the emperor* had never heard before completely caught his attention.

The figure of the person who said he would be back in the afternoon crept in. His face looked like he was about to cry. Peemphat knelt down and helped him sit on the bed, his hands still shaking.
*Jakkapad name meaning is king/emperor
"Are you hurt?" The carefree man quickly grabbed the arm of the injured person without asking. Fortunately, Jakkapad was able to put his arms down to catch himself before impact. The only wound he had was a long red mark on his stomach.

"I’m not."

"It’s good you’re not hurt." Peemphat let out a long sigh before standing up. "P’Jakk, wait here first, I will go get medicine and apply it for you. "

"You don’t need to.”

"But..."

Jakkapad cut him off by pulling his arm to sit down next to him again. If that wasn’t enough ... his sharp eyes swept from head to toe until the other person felt tense. He pressed his lips together, and looked at the arm he was still holding until his face turned completely red.

"Why did you come back quickly?"

“Today, I only went to take a quick look at the property and talk with the manager for a bit. There wasn’t much to do, so when I was finished, I hurried back.”

Also because he was concerned ...

"Um"

"…"

"…"

"Uh ..."

You can be silent, but do you have to stare? His face is already burning!

"Peemphat ..." a soft voice that seemed insecure made Peemphat forget his embarrassment. He quickly raised his head in shock to look at the person speaking. Although the voice was not really gentle, it made his heart pound until the pain was gone.

"Yes?"

"Doesn’t it upset you?"

"Upset me?"

"That I don't remember." The empty eyes flashed with a strange light, as if full of guilt.

"If I said it doesn’t upset me, I would probably be lying," he replied after taking a moment to adjust his mood. A pair of beautiful eyes look sharp with a gentle look. “But I understand it’s good to say when something’s bothering you. I also have a friend who only remembers his name and can't remember what we had done together. He knows that we are close friends, but aside from knowing that we are close, he can’t remember what we’ve done together. I tried to remember, but it didn’t come to my mind until my father told me about it."

He may have to thank Aunt Noi for reminding him of this. But, using the same story as an example was a little embarrassing.

“Sometimes fate is a joke. I felt hurt that I was not important to P’Jakk. P’Jakk doesn't remember." Peemphat smiled before putting his head down to hide the pain in his heart. At that time, he thought if P’Jakk regained his memory and remembered, he might definitely be upset. Because not only did he think about this on his own, but he also made the decision himself to cut off another person. “… But when I met P’Jakk I could feel how much pain you were hiding. I then realized that my problems were very ridiculous. Why am I only thinking about myself, and not worrying about P’Jakk’s feelings?”

"…"

"P’Jakk is not cold because you don’t remember a lot. You’re just cold… because you can’t remember.”

"You look at the world in an optimistic way."

"That's right,"Peem laughed. The dazzling beautiful pair of eyes and the bright sun-like smile forced Jakkapad to avoid his gaze. He had just realized that Peemphat had not yet released his arm when his white hand stretched out to hold it. "Even if you can't remember, it's fine."

"…"

"I will rebuild everything. This time, I will make sure that P’Jakk will never forget me again."

"…"

"Please ... give me a chance." Anyone can clearly see the hope in his beautiful eyes. Peemphat squeezed the big hand he held.

He had already placed his bets ... he said it all.

If he’s rejected again, he might not be able to go back and fix his broken heart this time.
"Opportunities ..." The person who was attacked by unexpected words was silent. Jakkapad closed his eyes, trying to collect his feelings to find an answer for him.

He admitted that he did know him. But like he said before, although he remembers they have memories together, he doesn’t remember what those memories are. At first, Jakkapad didn’t think he was wrong; he just can’t remember. If he can’t remember, then it doesn’t matter. So he let it go. But when he heard those words …

The whole world ...

Words he said without hesitation. The white palms that held his fingers, as though wanting to convey sincerity to the person in front of him, made him feel strange. It doesn’t seem like a feeling of guilt at all… but something more subtle.

When I can't remember ... why do I feel pain?

Since you think it doesn't matter ... why don't you want the person in front of you to cry?

Just accept it...

"Sorry for not remembering." The word ‘sorry’ that he was suspicious of ... refers to this. "And ..."

"…"

"Please take care of me."

Peemphat grinned ... it was the happiest smile Jakkapad had ever seen. He had been staring for a long time. So long, that he didn't even realize he had lifted his hand to wipe the tears on his face.

"Thank you,” he cried out while smiling. Before the pair of beautiful eyes fell asleep, the slender hand that held his, reached out and touched his cheek even more, "Thank you ..."

From now on, he will start all over again ... will not ask Jakkapad about his past.

Memories may start from scratch ... but the feelings that I have will never diminish, even after ten years.

"What is  your name?" In the next second, his mouth turned into a big smile and he wiped his face, wiping his eyes a great deal.

"My name is Peemphat. You can call me Peemphat. And I will call you P'Jakk. "

"Um"

"P’Jakk ..."

"Huh."

"P’Jakk ..."

"What?"

"You are my whole world"

Jakkapad did not answer. He just raised his hand and stroked his cheek in an awkward manner until the tyrant cried again.

"Please wait a little bit."

Just accept the truth ...

Even if the brain does not remember what memories we once had together ...  the heart cannot forget the feelings we had for each other.
