"Dad go get a girlfriend, it's weird shopping for flowers with your son"

"Ooh good job bare minimum what else ya gonna do feed me? And can we do this on a Saturday I'd go until then leave, I have to do work"
He sat up and beamed like a child with candy "Really!"
"Yess now go away" I pushed him off my bed

After me and dad talked for awhile, he finally left leaving me to my clean apartment and started to work.

"WOAH WHAT!" She yelled
"Oh no" i whispered
The sound of footsteps and bags rushed to my room and paused, then a small knock at the door
"Natsu can I come in?" Lucy asked and I liked around
Eh it was clean enough, I looked at myself making sure I was all cleaned and my injuries were covered
"Yeah sure" I hummed and watched the door slowly open
She walked in, her hair in a low ponytail, her eyes were tired, she wasn't standing on her leg Her whole appearance scream tired and stressed out.
Man I fucked her up
"Did you clean? I'm sorry you had to do that all yourself, I probably should have helped out, just mid terms and yaknow I hurt myself, but next time please let me know we'll clean together" she rambled and fiddled with the hem of her shirt
I laughed "nah no worries, I understand and no I'll clean you look tired so chill I guess also just do what I do, don't do the work" i joked and she laughed
"Sure idiot anyways goodnight" she turned and limped away
I took a deep breath and held it for a few seconds
"I can't keep doing that to her" I let go and began to think of why I'm doing this in the first place
I felt a weight on my lap and looked down at happy
"Hey buddy" I pet his head and carried him to my bed
And we both passed out
