Noah's POV

I have learned over the last week or so that sky is very different from the other girls I'm friends with. They're all outgoing, and loud. But Sky is very observant, and more quiet. She's unique. I've noticed that I started to feel different around her.

Maybe it's because I'm getting to know her. Maybe it's because of the way people always call us a couple. Maybe it's the way my face lights up when she walks in the room.

"Let's watch a movie." I say putting my plate in the sink. "What movie?" She asks closing her journal. I sit there and think of all the movies that we could watch. "Have you seen My Girl?" I ask. She nods her head and says. "I love that movie!" She walks over to the living room and turns on the tv.

I run up to her room and grab a bunch of pillows and blankets. I run back downstairs and set all the pillows and blankets on the couch. Sky laughs and helps organize the pillows and blankets.

I have also noticed that she's a perfectionist.

She presses play on the movie and we both sit beside each other under the covers.

About half way through the movie when the boy dies I see sky start to cry.

"It gets me every time." She says with her voice cracking. I pull her into a hug and whisper. "It's just a movie." She smiles and we continue to watch the movie. When the credits started to play I see Sky fast asleep beside me. I smile and close my eyes and fall asleep.

I wake up to the sun hitting my face. I rub my eyes and walk over to the windows to close the blinds. When I'm done I lay back down on the couch and fall back asleep.

I wake up earlier that day to a loud beeping noise. I quickly put my hands over my ears and run to the kitchen. "It's okay!" Sky yells waving a pizza box at the smoke detector. After a few seconds the beeping stops and we both burst out laughing.

"I WAS baking." She says pulling a tray of burnt cookies out of the oven. I start laughing even harder. "I dare you to eat one." I say. "Eww that's so gross!" She smiles. "Okay. You don't have to." I say grabbing a cookie.

I hit the cookie off the try to see that it's as hard as a rock.

Sky starts laughing. I put the cookie down and start to help Sky clean up the kitchen. After we're done she goes to put all of her pillows back upstairs. I follow behind her with the pillows. I set the pillows on the ground and watch as she makes her bed.

After she's done we both walk back downstairs. We both sit on the couch. I grab my phone and so does Sky. When she turns on her phone I see her smile.

Then her smile slowly fades. She sets her phone down and she puts her hands in her sleeves of her hoodie. I look at her and before I could say anything she just hands me her phone.

I see multiple comments of people telling Sky that she was ugly, fat, etc. I look over at Sky and put her phone down. I move closer to her and wrap my arms around her. "They're just jealous." I whisper in her ear. She pulls away and says "thanks, Noah."

She turns on YouTube on the tv, while she was scrolling through her feed James Charles pops  up. "Who's that?" She asks pointing to him. My jaw drops in shock. "Are- you serious?" I ask. She nods at me. "Oh girl you have some catching up to do." I say in a girl voice. She turns on the video and we spend the rest of the day watching his YouTube videos.

I can't wait to make her mine. I can't wait for her to kiss me good morning, and good night. But timing is everything.. right?
