"I have new ... Jace is....awake " the doctor says

"He's awake" "can we see him " Mr Norman and my dad say at once

"There's only 30 minutes till his surgery starts so you can all take turns see him" the doctor says

"Thank you doctor let's go" Mrs Norman says and she and Mr Norman go to his room

I silently thank the lord and then i text the gang

Me: guys he's okay but he needs  surgery

Lizz😍🤩: omg thank God

Cree🙃💖💯: can you see him 

Me: he's awake and they're only 30 minutes till his surgery starts

Leo ✌️🚶:Okay we'll be there soon

Me: Okay see you

And i also have a text from an unknown number

Unknown: heyyyy child

Me: uh I'm sorry who is this😅😳

Unknown: typing.....

"Rie it's your turn honey " my mum says and I practically run there behind the nurse

"Jace how are you" I say getting in and hugging him but he tenses up and backs away

"What are you doing here" he asks me with a serious face

"I'm here for you" I say in a duh but confused face

"Riele I need you to leave" he says

"Wait what?" I ask really confused

"I don't want you here"

"I thought we were friends?"I say why is he being like this

"I guess you thought wrong Riele now will you get out" he says yelling now causing Jace's mum to come in

"What's going on in here" she asks

"Nothing she was just leaving " Jace says pointing at Riele

"Why what I do to derseve this " Riele says evidently hurt

"Jace honey think this through" Mrs Norman says to him

"Theres nothing to think about,I want her out " he yells and I'm on the verge of tears right now

"Why I have been nothing but a great friend to you and this is what I get in return" I yell

"Rie..." Jace trys to speak

"No let me finish ,I found you today in the school hallway and chose to help you when everyone else was just passing by you, I've fough with Levi over a thousand times for our friendship ,you know I missed school today and I had a pre calc test that was half my term mark but I didn't think twice about missing it to spend the whole time seated in the waiting room crying, praying and worrying about you so you could just decide to cut me off" I finish with tears rolling down my cheeks now

"And I'm sorry Riele I just don't think it's a good idea for us to be friends" he says looking down

I just shake my head and chuckle sarcastically "no I'm sorry for actually thought we could have been great friends, I guess I was just a phase " I say walking out  and when I reach the waiting room I see Lizzy, Cree, Leo and Jace's siblings have arrived and they all try asking me how he is but I just walk past them ignoring them and head home

I won't lie that hurt a lot, Riele was the only person that had been there for me but there was no other way and the worst part was watching her cry because of me but it had to be done

I got home cried my eyeballs out, ate some ice-cream, cried again ate more ice-cream watching TV this time then I remembered that unknown person and I did need a distraction from thinking about that lame excuse of a friend , turns out he's Just as big a jerk as the others

Unknown: girlll just a month and you've already forgotten about me ...ouch cold Rie Rie
