Hoseok sat down on the carpeted floor, thinking hard. And wisely.

Yoongi, who was currently passed out on the sofa, had fallen asleep due to the exhaustion of crying non-stop.

Hoseok didn't blame him though. He too missed his siblings. He hadn't seen them in years.

Yes, Hoseok had siblings. He had an elder brother who was six, and a younger sister who was three. Hoseok himself was four.

Before the three were put up for adoption, they used to do absolutely everything together. They were inseparable. They were indeed the ultimate trio.

Unfortunately, the siblings soon had to bid farewell to each other. Hoseok's little sister, Ivy, got adopted first and was taken by a two lovely parents. A few weeks later, it was Hoseok's elder brother, Junghun, who was adopted by a single mother. Lastly, Hoseok was adopted by Jimin.

Hoseok didn't mind that he was put up for adoption, though. Neither did his siblings. If anything, they were relieved. No more abusive parents. They could finally have loving parents who actually cared for them. They could finally have the childhood that they deserved.

Hoseok rarely talked about his siblings. He never mentioned them. Sure, Jimin was obviously aware that the boy had siblings, but Hoseok didn't tell him any useful information about them.

The poor boy missed them dearly. They were the two people he adored and trusted with his life. There was no arguing about that. Hoseok would gladly jump in front of bullet if it means he'd save his dear siblings.

Just the thought of the two people closest to him caused tears to spring to his eyes.

"Miss Ivy... Miss Junghun..." The little boy mumbled to himself, cheeks puffed out in a desperate attempt not to burst out crying. He didn't want to wake Yoongi up.

However, Hoseok just wasn't able to stop himself. The emotions he had been holding in for so long finally broke free inside of him.

Hoseok felt his eyes grow sore and watery. Before he could even comprehend what was happening, cold tears dripped down from his eyes like a waterfall. The boy felt his chest tighten as little gasps left his lips.

The four year old was quick to scurry to his feet, rushing out of the living room before Yoongi could wake up and hear him sobbing his little heart out.

The boy tumbled and stumbled until he reached the foot of the stairs, where he threw himself down and stuffed his face into his arms.

Then, he allowed all of his emotions he had bottled up inside of him for so long to break free. Broken sobs ripped from Hoseok's throat as tears continued to gush down his ice cold cheeks.

In the living room, Yoongi had gradually awoken. He had heard what seemed to be the pitter patter of footsteps rushing out of the room.

With a hazy mind and eyebrows now furrowed together, the male eventually stood up from the sofa. He yawned loudly and stretched out his arms as well as his back.

Yoongi then proceeded to wander out of the living room. The little footsteps he heard earlier were indeed Hoseok's since no one else was in the house. But where did the little boy go? Was he bored?
