You smiled as you heard a knock on your door, meaning your girlfriend was here. You got up excitedly and opened the door, being embraced in a hug by your girlfriend right away. You hug back and nuzzle your face into her neck. Both being pro heroes and having different missions sucked, especially when you couldn't see each other for weeks or even have a day off when you lived together.

It was okay though, both of you had dreamed of becoming pro heroes since the UA days and here you are. Trying to fix the corrupt hero system created by the generations before you guys. One night one of you would be on patrol and one of you would be home. There are even times where one of you left to fight the evil for weeks.

It honestly sucked not being able to see each other that much, but that made your time together special and both of you made sure to appreciate every second of it.

"I missed you so much babe." Mina said softly and placed a kiss on your head. "I missed you too Ashido." You said with a smile and poked her nose, making her giggle. "So how was your mission?" Mina asked as she walked towards the couch, pulling you with her. You laughed as you fell on top of her. Mina took her chance and wrapped her arms around you, while nuzzling her face into your neck.

"You know, I should be asking that." You answered her previous question. "But I was first." She said with a soft laugh. "I was at home though.'' You said and turned around so you were face to face with her. Mina pecked your lips and just stuck our her tongue. "I don't care, tell me." She laughed. "Fine fine.'' You said with a pout as you started talking about how your mission went.

Mina smiled and started playing with your hair as you drifted away, telling the tiniest detail about the story as well. You didn't notice you were rambling but that didn't matter, Mina loved every second of it. From how you would get excited talking about the tiniest details from missions to the way you could come up with the most random stories.

Mina slowly drifted away into her own thoughts, not really hearing what you were saying anymore. She just started thinking about how lucky she was with you and how she couldn't be happier. She was so glad it was you and no one else, because she knew no one else would stay with her this long due her being gone so much, but yet you still chose to stay with her.

"You know I saw you on tv after a mission being all happy and making the people around you happy. I kinda felt useless and like I wasn't as good of a hero like you.'' You mumbled softly, taking Mina out of her trance. "Why would you be useless?" Mina asked you. "Well you're always so positive and strong, even though missions fail sometime.'' You mumbled softly. "And you wanna say you're not strong?" She asked while looking into your eyes.

"I-I didn't say that!" You quickly answered, making Mina laugh. "Not every pro hero has to be a filled with positive energy all the time. You wouldn't make it to being a pro hero either if you weren't strong.'' Mina said softly as she pokes your nose, making you giggle a bit.

"See that's what I wanna see.'' Mina said with a smile as you continued your story. "Fine fine.'' You answered. "I just wanna be stronger.'' You mumbled to yourself, not thinking that Mina would even hear it.

"Listen babe.'' Mina said as you grabbed your face, you made eye contact with her as you turned a bit red. "I don't ever wanna hear you say that again okay? You're one of the strongest heroes." She started. "People are different and act different in situations, that doesn't make you a better or a worse hero, that's just how everyone is and I hope you understand that." She finished and you nodded.

You didn't even get the chance to finish as you felt hands on your side, starting to giggle when she tickles you. "Mina don't!" You said while laughing louder and Mina just smiled.

She got you to smile again and that was everything she could've asked for. She was so happy with you and everyone could see it. She stopped tickling you and pulled you in a kiss with a big smile.

"I love you." You mumbled against her lips as you kissed her back, all your negative thoughts from earlier being long forgotten because she took your mind off it.
