i decided i was done with this conversation so i stood up

i bent down and laid a kiss on her lips before walkin out the room and to the garage
As i was getting in my car my phone started ringing making me answer it
"wasgood?" i started driving with nowhere in mind

"nigga is you listening?" Ace asked me through the phone making me jump out my thoughts

"Meet me at da mall i gotta pick something up for Aj" he spoke talking about his son
"pretty sure he don't need nothing else" I laughed and i could tell he rolled his eyes at me

it was the middle of the day so the traffic was light and i made it to the mall in less time than usual
I found somewhere to park before walking in
I decided on getting my wings first then i would call Ace
I walked to the food court and started ordering my shit

"Im tryna figure out why it's taking yo ass so long and you down here being a fatass" Ace came and sat beside me while i was waiting for my food
"I was jus finna text you" I laughed holding my phone up to his face so he could see out message thread opened

Like ten minutes later my number was called and i went to grab my food
"i already got the clothes and shit I jus gotta go get his shoes" He told me and i nodded
we started walking up towards footlocker while we joked about stupid shit
once we made it, we saw some lil white girl sittin at the register
"welcome to footlocker can i help you?" she asked standing up and walking around to the main floor
"yea im here to pick up my or-" Ace was talking but my attention fell to the door when i heard somebody walk in
it was sum lil short boy who was in his phone
i put my attention back on Ace seeing he had his bag and we walked out the store and started walking towards outside
"Yo excuse me you left ya phone" the same boy i jus seen was walking after us holding Ace's phone
i took the time to look at his face, he looked young as fuck. if you ain have to be 16 to work at footlocker i woulda thought he was younger den dat
i stood at 6'2 so it wasn't surprising he was shorter than me but he was taller den Kareena who was 5'4
Speaking of she texted me to get her some food so i made a mental reminder to stop before i went back home
"Preciate you bruh for real" Ace grabbed his phone back and we kept walking
"Ride wit me we can get ya car later" Ace said and i nodded walking wit him towards his car
I finally took the time to eat my wings since dey was still hot while Ace drove
"Lemme have one" he reached over and grabbed it while keepin his eyes on da road
I shrugged him off cause i wasn't gone eat em all anyway
He pulled up to his babymama house and blew the horn continuously until the door swung open
"What the fuck is wrong witchu bro" She walked up to the car
"My fault shorty" he laughed at her face
Ryli was a cute lil white girl dat Ace was obsessed with in high school
They were together for five years, in that time they had a son and shortly after they broke up

"get Aj shit out the back" he told her and she opened the backseat and grabbed the bags

"u be safe shorty" he told her as she started walking back in her house. Once she was in and the door was closed he finally drove off
We rode around for a lil bit longer until it was dark out and Ace took me back to my car
"I'll catch you tomorrow D" I dapped him up getting out the car and into mine
I stopped by mcdonald's and got Kareena some food before driving back home
Once i walked in i noticed all the lights off so i assumed she was sleep. I walked to the top of the stairs and to my room
She was sitting at her vanity doing sum to her hair and she had a face mask on her face
"Hey Damari" She muttered looking towards me
"stop being mad at me Re" I walked towards her and wrapped my arms around her waist
"you denied your baby" she sighed "that's fucked up"
"im sorry baby" I lied. I still knew the fucker wasn't mine
"it's ok we passed that now"'i handed her the bag of food and she thanked me before sitting it down
"im finna get in the shower" i told her walking towards my bathroom
