"Absolutely not. I'm a grown man. I don't have crushes anymore." Calum shook his head, sipping his black coffee.
"So you love her then?" Ashton blurted and Calum felt his cheeks get hot.
"Dog love." Calum sat up and tried to make it sound cool, but he really sucked at that. Ashton only laughed and Calum resisted the urge to push him off his chair.
Calum's love wasn't just a crush, it was real, palpable. Laura was a real woman and Calum was ready to take it to the next level. He wasn't a pup anymore, he was a grown dog.
