Sometimes, it's just nice to sit outside and watch the sunset. Because when you're a demon slayer, life tends to be a bit different then what a normal person would experience. Even though they never express it, demon slayers live in constant fear of a painful death. Sometimes it seems that demons have so many ways to kill us, each more brutal than the last. Because of this, any moment when a demon slayer like Kori could feel as if their life was a completely normal one was sacred to them.
Kori was sitting outside the house of the Wisteria Family, perched on a cool rock surrounded by tall silver grass, watching the last ounces of sunlight disappear below the horizon. She was savoring her last day at the welcoming homestead of the Wisteria Family. After a particularly vicious encounter with a demon that Inosuke swore "had to be one of the Twelve Kizuki" that had left her, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke all severely injured, they had been staying at the house with the Wisteria Family crest to recover. However, the group of demon slayers was basically all healed, so they were planning to head out the next morning.
