My eyes widened as the dark clouds withdrew from the stormy sky that faded back to it's light grey hue. As we trudged through the muddied forest path, we were fearful of the next encounter and the sudden rattling of the trees didn't help calm our nerves. The path still seemed to be endless, and we haven't seen the fox anywhere which made me worry that there wasn't a way out of this forest. The path suddenly came to a stop and in its place, a large river submerged the trees. We slowly stepped into the cold, harsh water that reflected the scarlet trees which caused the river to appear red. The stillness of the river was unnatural.

"Hmm...." Oliver slightly whispered.

"Huh?" I glanced at Oliver from the corner of my eyes.

"There are clouds in the distance," she said pointing behind us.

"Well let's hurry and get through this," Violet said as she dragged us through the frigid red water. We clenched our teeth as we trudged through the unusually heavy water and found ourselves back on the dry path. We sighed in relief and took a moment to catch our breaths. When we finally did, we started to shiver as a gust of wind blew past us, and we couldn't help but glance back at the dark clouds and decorative lightning in the distance.

"Aw man!" Oliver whined.

"What?"

"We gotta go up that?" She questioned as she pointed at the hill.

"....Yep," Violet sighed which caused my shoulders to slump.

"Ugh," I groaned as I wiped away the black gunk off of my face and sat up. I held my head tiredly and looked around, "what? Where am I?"

"This is my home...."

"Huh?" I blinked a few more times and the dark scenery turned into a bright and warm one. I was thoroughly confused but quickly shook it off. "So, uh, where is this place- er, where's your home located?"

"In the woods."

'What is it with woods and forest?!' I thought. "Uh, so.... What happened?"

"Oh..." He gripped my hand tightly and looked away which caused me to scoot closer to him.

"It's okay, I'm listening."

"....We accidentally trespassed on some land, and we had to pay for it," he sniffled.

"Hmm? Did you not have any money at the time?" I asked.

"Um...we weren't poor, or rich, but we had a little bit more money saved, so that's why my family moved into the cabin in the woods because it was cheaper than the others." He slowly looked around the cabin in nostalgia.

"Ah, well can you tell me a little bit about your family a little?" Right when I asked that, his round, green eyes sparkled with happiness.

"Yeah! Of course! But..who do I talk about first?" He asked, a little conflicted. I slightly chuckled at his cuteness and asked:

"Well, who's in your family?"

"Ummmm.. I have a mommy and a daddy named Ester and George, and my big sis Revilo."

"...Huh, that name sounds kinda familiar, but Revilo's a pretty odd name....so are the rest of your family," I slightly smiled.

"Um, really? Hm...well Relivo's really nice, and smart, and she's got green eyes like me, and, and, and she's got big puffy hair!" He yelped excitedly. I couldn't help but laugh and squeeze him a little tighter.
