You wanted to scream for help, but you were frightened. You couldn't move an inch of your body and could feel your eyes already watering.

"Please..." Your voice barely came out, but he was very much capable of understanding what you had said.

He laughed, his voice felt like silk, but it wasn't calming. It was that kind of softness that made your skin crawl.

"No... don't cry gorgeous." He caressed your cheek with his fingers, enveloping your figure with his white feathered wings.

"Captain was right. Look at how much you have grown, you've matured into a beautiful curvaceous woman. He will have so much fun with you now." His words made you sick, but you were shocked. The bad memories this man had inflicted upon you were coming back and you couldn't do anything but sob. You wanted Zoro.

The bond!

He must have felt through the bond that you needed help, you just had to get the man to stay in here for a while.

"Let me go!" You finally said, screaming and trying to wiggle yourself out of his grasp. But your body was fragile and weak, while his was strong and agile. He slapped you in the face, strong enough to make your face turn and your fear come back. Zoro still wasn't arriving.

"Oh, are you thinking about your pretty boyfriend? Don't worry, he won't even know you're gone until some minutes. By then, we'd be long gone~" he lifted you both off the floor and started flying. You screamed for your boyfriend, desperately trying to fall back into the ground, but a couple of seconds in, everything else was black. The only thing you could see was Laffitte's form holding you tightly, and you simply gave up.

As you were being taken away, Zoro felt a nagging feeling that was bothering him, feeling like he had forgotten something. His chest ached as well, but he couldn't understand why. He was under hypnosis, having forgotten about you completely, but he was going to doze out of it in a couple of minutes. The place where you were being taken was Teach's mansion, and you weren't going to be alone. Your dumbass freckled brother was there too. He was captured after trying to kill the man in a fight, being captured by Teach's workers and locked inside a cell, so you were in for an unpleasant surprise.

A couple of minutes after flying, the dark fog had cleared out and the remorse and anger had settled in, but you weren't going to give up. You were going to find a way to escape. It was as easy as just turning back into your cat form and slip away unnoticed, then again you had no idea about your brother being already locked up and waiting for you, meaning that an escape wouldn't be as easy as you wanted.

On the other hand, Zoro stood inside the dojo, watching the children practice the kata he had just taught them, as the hypnosis melted away. He felt fright, desperation and sadness seep through your side of the bond. You had never gave him such negative emotions, so he didn't think twice before abandoning the children and going to the backyard, looking for you. Outside, he noticed a couple of feathers on the floor and the key he had given you to open the shed

"Shit." He cursed. He felt his lungs tightening up as he stopped breathing, panting his way over to his dad's individual training room. What was he going to do?

"(Y/N)!" He yelled, hoping senselessly for you to answer him. "(Y/N)! PLEASE!" He kept on yelling until he arrived to his father's room, who looked at Zoro worriedly.

"What happened?"

Zoro shook his head. He was an idiot. He was a jerk. He was supposed to teach you how to fight. He was supposed to guard you and keep you safe. Not even a day had passed since you were wanted and he had already failed at protecting you. Your brothers were going to kill him. He wanted to kill himself.

"Zoro, what happened?"

"(Y/N) was captured." He breathed out. His mind was fuzzy and his heart beating like crazy. His soulmate was in grave danger and he was about to pass out. No. He had to focus. Your safety was the priority and he couldn't allow himself to be affected by your loss just yet. He had to find you now. He couldn't let the other man's hands to even touch a hair of yours.

"Mihawk, take over my class." With that, Zoro dashed off to the changing rooms, where he had left his phone. Hands trembling, he dialed Sabo's phone number.

"Zoro?" Sabo's voice came out insecure, scared. He knew Zoro wouldn't call for good news.

"She's gone."

"Zoro..."

"Someone took her Sabo." Zoro could feel his throat closing up. Until this day, he had never imagined his life without you. He had taken you for granted and he wanted to punch himself hard right now. His eyes were blurry, he felt your fear and his own anger and it was extremely overwhelming.

"Zoro, stay calm. Rush over."

Sabo had hanged up, and Zoro wasn't about to delay this anymore. He wasn't going to keep on fucking up.

As he drove his way to the Newgate house, he gripped the steering wheel so tight his knuckles had turned white. He could barely focus on the road and the longing for your presence was starting to hurt him, all over his body. He was worried sick.

He barely even parked the car and rushed to the door, knocking insistently till Luffy opened up.

"Zoro!" He had the most serious look that Zoro had ever seen on him, it was frightening. He actually looked dangerous. "Sabo! Zoro's here, let's go!"

Luffy pushed Zoro over to Sabo's car and sat him in the back seat. Zoro was in such a state he couldn't even focus on what was going on around him. Soon enough, Sabo hopped in and started the car.

"Zoro, it's ok. She'll be alright. We would've had to go over anyways because the freckled piece of shit got captured." Zoro took in shaky breaths, trying to calm his heart and entire body down.

"Where's Newgate?" He asked, but his gaze was fixated on the floor, too scared and ashamed to look at any brother in the eyes.

"He took a separate car." Sabo looked from the rearview mirror at his friend and brother in law, a worried frown set on his face. Sabo knew you'd be fine, the man wouldn't ever end your life anyways. Pops was on his way to kill the damn bastard and Ace was also there.

"Zoro, you need to calm down." Said Luffy, worried of his best friend.

"He can't, Lufffy. It's a physical reaction caused by their bond. Once we find her they will both be fine." Sabo states firmly, Zoro still on the back seat trying to collect his thoughts.
