"Ano ba kasing pag-uusapan natin?!"

My forehead creased while staring outside the window of Bailey's car. He's currently driving at hindi ko alam kung saang lupalop ng Maynila niya ako dadalhin. I managed to keep quite for the first hour pero ngayong nastuck kami sa traffic ay hindi na ako makapagpigil.

Does it require a certain place for us to open our mouth and talk? Pwede lang naman kaming mag-usap dito sa loob ng kotse niya.

"Pwede bang manahimik ka muna, Ylliana? Sumasakit na ang ulo ko sayo." I gritted my teeth bago padabog na sinandal ang likod ko sa upuan ng kotse niya.

"My time's getting wasted Mr. Mendoza. Hindi ako kagaya ng Ylliana noon na basta basta mo nalang hahatakin-Fuck!"

My eyes widened when he suddenly stopped the car so fast that it made a screeching sound. Nilingon ko si Bailey and still saw him looking so serious at hindi makatingin sa akin.

"Magpapakamatay ka ba?!" Nilingon niya ako. His expression softened that made me gulp.

"Hindi na nga tayo tulad ng dati." Humigpit ang hawak niya sa manibela before letting out a fake smile "Wala na nga sigurong dapat pag-usapan. Saan ba ang bahay mo? Iuuwi na kita."

I kept quite after telling him my condo's address. Inabala ko ang sarili ko sa pag scroll sa social media accounts ko habang patuloy na sinusulyapan si Bailey. Ngayon nalang ulit kami nagkasama at nagkalapit ng ganito in an enclosed space. It's really awkward.

I secretly sneaked a picture of me inside Bailey's car and posted it on my Instagram. Nilagyan ko lang ito ng caption na heart and after a few seconds, likes and comments started flooding my notifications.

Pinigilan ko ang tawa ko before sending the screenshot to my manager. I can already see her shouting in joy after seeing my message. Isa din siya sa mga supporters ng tandem namin ni Harvey, but sorry, he's just not my type.

I turned off my mobile data and started roaming my eyes around Bailey's car. These past years ay nabalitaan kong naging busy siya sa mga wedding events. I wonder if he spent his own money from those payments to buy this.

I stopped checking out his car when he turned on the radio. A song from Ben & Ben played that got me thrilled at napaupo ng maayos sa upuan. Balak ko sanang sabayan yung chorus dahil hindi ko memorize ang first verses but Bailey totally nailed the song.

"Di ba nga ito ang iyong gusto?
O dito'y lilisan na ako"

His voice is still the same as before. Nagagawa pa rin nitong dalhin ako sa mga moments na masaya kaming magkasama.

"Mga alaala'y ibabaon
Kalakip ang tamis ng kahapon"

Napalunok ako and found myself staring at him. I realized that the song perfectly fits our story since I was the one who pushed him away.

"Mga gabing di namamalayang oras ay lumilipad
Mga sandaling lumalayag kung san man tayo mapadpad"

Yeah. Time really fly so fast. Parang kahapon lang ay magkasama pa kami at normal na high schoolers lang but now we're already pursuing our dreams and just a step closer to graduating.
