Summary: Luke ran away after getting into a fight with his mom, leading him to the garage where you are causing him to take out some frustrations by yelling at you.
A/N: I felt like having the reader be Reggie's sister and her being sensitive to yelling because her parents were fitting. Hope you enjoy, Much Love 🌻
Your and Reggie's home life wasn't what people would call the best. You guys have dealt with yelling since you were young. Your parents should have broken up years ago but they insisted on staying together and it had taken a toll on both of you. One major detail is now you hate yelling and if people start yelling you have to leave or you'll cry.
One thing you could always count on was the boys, they had become your family. Luke was your best friend and if he ever made you cry it wasn't on purpose. Luke stormed into the garage, looking up at him you could see he was upset.
"Please don't cry, it scares me when people cry." You say getting up trying to figure out why he is cry.
"I'm crying because I'm pissed, I mean who does she think she is." He states pacing the floor of the small garage. He's mumbling and breathing heavy, at this point your concerned that he's gonna pass out due to loss of oxygen.
"Luke, you need to calm down or your going to start to hyperventilating and pass out." You state walking closer to him to try to help him calm down.
"DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN!" He yells causing you to flinch backwards. For the first time in all the time you've known Luke you were scared of him.
"I WAS JUST TRYING TO HELP LUCAS, I DEAL WITH ENOUGH YELLING AT HOME I DON'T NEED IT FROM YOU TOO!" You scream back, refusing to show how much it was affecting you. Hearing him yell at you hurt so much because he was the one person in the world who you thought would never yell at you. His expression turned to one of realization as you walked out the door of the garage passing you brother and Alex, refusing to let the tears go.
"Y/N! Wait please!" Luke tries to get you to stop, making sure he doesn't yell again. Luke sighed seeing the confusion on Alex's face and the anger on Reggie's, knowing he would have to tell his best friend that he yelled at his sister.
That was almost a week ago and you haven't been back to the garage or home since then. Reggie knew you were with your best friend, you went to her house whenever things got bad or you just needed to cry. Her and Reggie were the only people to ever see you cry.
Knowing you would need to face them eventually you made your way to the garage. Opening the door you were immediately hugged by Reggie and Alex as they asked you to never do that again. You look I'm between them and see Luke sitting in the corner writing in his music journal.
"Hey guys, can I talk to Luke alone for a second?" You say looking at the two boys in front of you not missing Luke look up from his writing. Reggie gave you a look about to attest when you just shook him off and started walking Luke. Alex dragged Reggie away before he could say anything.
"I'm sorry for yelling at you the other day. I swear I didn't mean to, I was just so worked up. I know you were just trying to help," You cut him off by hugging him tightly. He hesitantly wraps his arms around you, hugging you back.
"I know you didn't mean to yell at me, I shouldn't have told you to calm down. I'm sorry too." You look up at him. pulling back a little. "But if you yell at me again i'll let F/N curse you out like she wanted." He pulls back more stepping back a little.
"She may be small but she's really scary when she yells, trust me I wont." He shudders while you just laugh
