Demi

Demi Lovato spotted getting cosy with mystery man just over a month after rumours of her split from Max Ehrich surfaced.

Demi Lovato, 29, who shares a daughter with Max Ehrich, 30, was spotted getting close to mystery man Thursday lunchtime.

The Confident songstress and her daughter, Ayla, were seen entering Harvey's where she was accompanied by the mystery man who a source claims is her friend, 'he's someone that she's met recently. Demi's just focusing on her daughter at the moment, her mind isn't on dating."

The Sorry Not Sorry singer was seen laughing and joking as she spent time with the mystery man.

We're just glad to see Demi happy.

Max: Who the fuck you got around my daughter?

I rolled my eyes as the message pinged through. I didn't even reply, I just shoved my phone into my pocket and stepped from the car.

"Thanks, Max" he gave me a smile.

"Message me when you're finished and I'll meet you back around here, okay?" I nodded, sending him a smile. I began into the hospital and straight towards the maternity department, surprised to find that Kobe was already sat waiting, flicking through one of the many magazines that were scattered on the table in front of him.

"Hey" he glanced up at me and my heart fluttered at his smile.

"Hi."

"What are you reading?" my eyebrows furrowed in intrigue.

"Just some pregnancy magazine, it's very insightful" I lightly giggled as he closed the magazine so that I could see the cover.

"I'm going to check in" he nodded and sent me a smile. I checked in, thankful when they said that I could head straight in. I grabbed Kobe and headed towards the room, not even realising that his hand was linked with mine until I stepped into the room and he gave my hand a squeeze. I sent him a smile and slid my hand from his, beginning to take a look at the photos and posters scattered across the wall.

"How are you?" I glanced briefly back at him with a smile.

"I'm not bad" I pulled my phone from my pocket as it began to vibrate, a groan slipping from my lips at the caller ID. "What?" Kobe glanced to me with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Who the fuck is that guy you have around my daughter?" I rolled my eyes, taking a seat on the hospital bed as my stomach began to bubble with anger.

"So, you can ring me to ask who I have around my daughter but you don't care to see her?"

"Our daughter, Demi. She's our daughter, shouldn't I get a say in who we have around her?" I could feel my eyes beginning to well up with tears of anger and frustration.

"You haven't seen her in over a week, Max. Why do you suddenly care about her now?"

"I've been busy, Demi, okay?"

"Busy with what? You haven't been working."

"And you suddenly know what I'm doing with my life?" I rolled my eyes, quickly wiping at my fallen tears, glancing at Kobe who settled his hand on my shoulder.

"Don't let him upset you."

"Is he with you?"

"Yes, he is because the father of my baby didn't want to attend his unborn child's appointment and I didn't want to be here alone. You're an asshole, Max, and out of the both of us, it should be me who's pissed off because I've done absolutely nothing to you. I gave you no reason to believe that this baby isn't yours" Kobe stroked a strand of hair behind my ear and pressed a gentle kiss to the top of my head in an attempt to calm me down.

"I don't want him around my daughter, Demi, that's final."

"Well, that isn't your decision to make."

"Then I'll see you in court" the call went dead.

"You okay?" my mouth hung open slightly, tears pouring down my cheeks.

"He..." I glanced up at Kobe who gently wiped away my tears. "He just threatened to take me to court" he sighed, wrapping his arm around my neck and pulling me into him as I released a sob. He pressed a kiss to the top of my head and just allowed me to cry into him. I only pulled away when the door opened and Dr Anderson stepped through.

"Are you alright, Sweetheart?" I nodded with a sniffle.

"Yeah, just issues with the father" she gave me a sympathetic smile, her hand giving my arm a gentle squeeze.

"Who's this then, Demi?"

"This is Kobe, he's a friend" Dr Anderson held her hand out for Kobe to shake.

"It's nice to meet you, Kobe."

"You too" he ran his fingers back into the tips of my hair as he removed his hand from Dr Anderson's.

"So, you know what this appointment entails, we'll get all the boring stuff out of the way first and then we can get to checking up on baby" I nodded my agreement. She checked my weight, height and all of the boring stuff. I was thankful when I was able to lie back on the bed. Kobe stood beside me, his hand taking mine and I smiled up at him as he pressed a kiss to my knuckles. "Let's get looking at baby, Demi" I lifted my shirt to reveal my still relatively flat stomach. "So, we're around 12 weeks, yeah?" I nodded, placing my other hand behind my head as I watched the monitor. Dr Anderson squirted some gel onto my stomach and pressed the probe into my belly, moving it around until she got a clear image of baby. "12 weeks sounds about right, Demi" my mouth twitched into a smile. "Baby measures up nicely. Their heartrate is perfect too" she flicked a switch causing the most beautiful thumping to fill the room. "You've made a good little home in there, Demi" I glanced up at Kobe who quickly wiped at his cheek.

"Are you crying?" he rapidly shook his head.

"Nope" I giggled, glancing back to the monitor, my smile just widening.

"You're such a softie" he gave my hand a squeeze.

"They're giving you a wave, Demi."

"I'm going to protect you

"I'm going to protect you. Nobody is ever going to hurt you" I silently promised the baby, my son or daughter, that was nestled away in my belly.
