'Pay no attention
to the man behind the curtain
He's a brainless, heartless, coward
with no power'
"What. Did. You. Do?" Hermione gritted out.
Harry shrugged and whipped his hand on the bottom of his jacket, the blood smearing into the fabric.
From behind Harry, Ron laughed.
"Damn! When I said you should kill him, I wasn't being serious!" He laughed again.
Harry shrugged and looked down, the body of Cornelius Fudge still laying bloodied at his feet.
Hermione sighed and pinched the top bridge of her nose.
"Great. Now we have to clean it up!"
Harry shrugged again.
He hasn't expected himself to want to kill the man. Even when he felt the urge he wasn't sure he would actually go through with it.
'Oh shit, it's not a dream.'
The only part that scared Harry, was the fact that he had enjoyed it.
He loved feeling Fudges heartbeat stop, and seeing the blood gush from the mans neck.
Harry looked down again, feeling the wet soaking puddle on his shoes, the blood pool slowly growing larger.
He took a step back and stared at the blood on his clothes and shoes.
He'd always had urges to kill.
Hadn't everyone?
Well, he thought so.
So for years, he'd lose control and Ron and Hermione would help clean it up, blaming Voldemort.
But this was much bigger than a dumb muggle.
This was the minister of magic.
Harry sighed and sat down on a huge fallen tree branch.
He stared at his hands, and thought.
He thought of what he'd become.
The fucked up part was that he liked it.
A wolffish grin took over his features.
Dumbledore would be next, Harry could feel it.
The man was slowly dying, being drained of his power and life anyway.
So why not put the man out of his misery?
Harry laughed.
Tilting his head, he flicked his fingers and the mess was clean, his clothes restored and the blood disappeared.
"Well," Hermione blinked. "That's more like it."
Ron doubled over in laughter.
"I guess you could say, He Fell inside the rabbit hole again."
Hermione giggled and then sighed.
"This is the fiftieth time, Harry! Only since the summer began...." she grumbled and Ron smiled.
"He can't help himself, can ya Harry?" Ron slung his arm over Harry's shoulder and the boy who lived just smiled at him.
"Yes, I suppose I'm Mad as a Hatter."
Ron fell over laughing again.
Hermione had a small smile on her face.
"Okay, you two!"
They both looked at her.
"Where do we place him?"
Ron thought, hard for a moment.
He then smirked like a lion after it's caught it's meal.
"We should shove him in the gryffindor points glass. Then lose ourselves a bunch of points tomorrow, and watch slowly as his body is revealed."
Harry and Hermione blinked at him.
"What? Sometimes I'm worse than Harry. You forget,"
A pause.
"I'm entirely bonkers! But you like me best when I'm off my rocker!"
He doubled over, making himself laugh again.
Hermione rolled her eyes and Harry shrugged.
Sometimes he thought they were worse than him.
But, that thought never stayed for long.
They dragged the body, taking almost all three of them.
"Oh for fucks sake!" Ron levitated Fudge, sighing in relief when he did.
Hermione giggled and Harry smirked.
"Guess I can't turn you off." Hermione chuckled at Ron.
He smirked a wide smirk, and kissed her hard.
Harry rolled his eyes.
Ew.
Straight couple.
He wrinkled his nose, and then chuckled at himself as Ron slung a strong arm over Hermione's shoulders.
"Come on you two, we still need to place him before the sun comes up." Harry started walking faster.
Fudges body levitated and followed behind them, like a terrifying stroll through the forest.
Harry had barley even known how he'd ended up in the forest, let alone how both of them found him.
He didn't care.
Voldemort would be proud.
He thought so, anyway.
He didn't know why it mattered.
Maybe because the man was a criminal mastermind? Harry didn't know.
He didn't want to.
Harry didn't want to know a lot of things.
He was afraid that if he did, he would wake up from the life most people would consider a nightmare.
But it wasn't.
To Harry, it was a dream come true.
He had friends that helped and supported him even in murder, lovely people, a lovely life, and he always had fun.
Even if people were to deem them all mad, what did he care?
He was crazy, but all the best people were.
Harry always felt high, like he was slowly losing his mind as Sirius had in Azkaban.
Because his mind felt like a prison, one he never wanted to leave.
Harry grinned as they transported the body into the glass.
He couldn't wait for what was to come.
Especially when he told Sirius.
The man would be so proud.
