First off, I want to say THANK YOU for deciding to give this story a try. It means so much.
I wrote this book nearly a year back when I Was fourteen. Reading through it again, I was honestly questioning my intellect as a fourteen year old and cringing at old scenes and badly used vocabulary.
But recently during quarantine we had a government run project where they offered to publish like 100 books so I thought there was no harm in entering.
And then began the nearly month long heavy editing. I had @laaraajaya_to help out XD. My Sister and my two school friends became my first readers. It was pretty fun and I feel like this story is quite close to me personally.
See, almost all characters in this book (save for the fictional ones. You'll see what I mean ;) ) were inspired by someone I've met in real life. People who've played an important role in my life. So the main five characters are based on my siblings and I. Trust me, I'm not as bad as Tara though... XDXD
Oh and I forgot to say, my username Tara came from this book. It's been my pen name for a while now. But I figured it would be weird if the name of the author and the main character were the same so I put my real name on the book cover.
Anyway, if you are a person who loves and enjoys books like me, I hope you'll love this book. {My Sis already does and she doesn't let me forget. for. a. minute.}
