The next day, when Dreamcloud was about to go to sleep, a paw prodded her and she opened her eyes groggily, groaning.

"Dreamcloud, wake up! Want to climb the Ancient Oak?"

It was Acornfall's whisper.

Dreamcloud jolted awake, "Alright."

They padded out of camp. Dreamcloud admired the sleek muscles that rippled under his pelt.

He jumped on the Ancient Oak. His claws dug into the bark as he heaved himself up.

"Bet you can't reach me!" Acornfall called.

"Bet I can!" Dreamcloud yowled.

She jumped on the Ancient Oak, scrambling on.

They laughed, gossiping. Dreamcloud was content, a warm smile glowing on her face.
