The lost crow and the runaway fox

Chapter 2 Fox-like

Itachi appeared in a forest in a flock of black crows then the crows disappeared leaving black fluffy feathers to slowly fall down onto the ground. He is somewhere he's been before, somewhere he's extremely familiar with, no not Amegakure(the Rain village) where the Akatsuki base is, it's the place where he was born, a place he use to call his home, but now, he's a lost crow without a place to call home, so that means, it's no longer his home. Itachi is currently in a forest in the Fire country but kind of far away from Konoha since he would most likely to be spotted if he went close to Konohas' gates so he couldn't go close to Konoha. You're probably wondering, why is he here? It's not his home anymore so why would he go there? Well, he misses his old home and wants to see if anything was near the edge of the Fire countrys' boarder since he can't go close to the Konoha, a lot of people misses their old home and Itachi is one of those people. He loves Konoha, his old home before he became stray Uchiha without a place to return to, he even agreed to murder his clan for Konoha, he always saw Konoha as good in his eyes, he saw them as good people so he would risks everything for Konoha and his little brother. Even Danzo who was someone from Konoha meesed up(did on purpose which Itachi knows) and he's brother saw him murder his parents, he was still fine with and he still wants to protect Konoha, he never really saw them as bad people since they didn't really do anything bad. 

Itachi started walking in the forest, he looked around him and smiled at the beautiful view the forest had. The forest was surrounded by tall trees, it had plants with lushes leaves and animals playing around and birds singing a beautiful song, he loved every bit of the forest as he continued to walk in the forest. The forest made Itachi forget all the stress he had in his mind of murdering his clan and leaving his little brother and his home, he just concentrated on the plants that surrounded him. 'I miss Konoha so much. Maybe I can actually visit it. No one will notice I'm there, they're never able to find me unless I reveal myself. Yes, that's a great idea, i'll see how Konoha is doing. Maybe I can even see my little brother as well.' thought Itachi happily really wanting to go back to Konoha even though he can't reveal himself or let himself be spotted by anyone. He continued walking happily towards Konoha then he saw something white. He started walking closer to the white colour and saw strands of blonde hair swaying in the wind. It was a person, a young boy wearing a white T-shirt and orange shorts, the boy looked really young, he looked like he wasn't even a teenager yet. Itachi started approaching the boy then the boy disappeared in a puff of smoke then Itachi turned around to look behind him and saw the boy in the air ready to tackle him. Itachi dodged and the boy landed on the ground in his fighting stance. 'I couldn't even sense him. He tricked me with a shadow clone, it seems like he has experience pranking people.' thought Itachi. The boy was ready to attack him but then Itachi stopped him.

"Stop, I don't want to fight so calm down." said Itachi.

"Why were you trying to sneak up on me?" asked the boy.

"I just saw you and I thought you were lost since you look like a kid and you were in the middle of a forest." answered Itachi.

"Firstly I am a kid and secondly, I am definitely not lost." said the boy.

"Then why are you in the middle of a forest." asked Itachi.

"None of your business!" said the boy. Itachi glared at the boy, not hatefully though, the glare made the boy gulp.

"I uh......ran away." said the boy looking at the ground.

"Which village are you from?" asked Itachi.

"I'm not telling you! If I do then you'll just take me back back." said the boy. Itachi walked in front of the boy a knelt down placing his hands on the boys' shoulder.

"I promise I won't take you back. I just want to know which village you're from." said Itachi.

"Promise?" asked the boy looking at Itachi. Itachi just nodded his head.

"I-I'm from Konoha." replied the boy which made Itachi widen his eyes. 'Why would he want to leave Konoha. He looks so young as well. What did Konoha do to make him leave?'  thought Itachi. 

"Well, what a coincidence. I use to live in Konoha as well but then I had to leave." said Itachi.

"Really?" asked Naruto.

"Yes really. I'm going to go and see Konoha now but I have to make sure no one can see me. I'll take you with me there. I know you ran away but after I see Konoha do you want to come with me?" asked Itachi.

"Um, sure." replied Naruto.

Then, the 2 heard footsteps coming towards them and saw three Konoha nins, as soon as they saw Naruto, a smirk appeared on their faces, they didn't even realize Itachi was there.

"Looks like we found the demon brat. We can hurt him then bring him back to Konoha and just say that he hurt himself while he was running away." said one of them.

"Good plan. We'll beat the demon brat half dead." said another one. Itachis' eyes widened with anger and rage, 'Why the hell would they do this to a kid in their village? This is probably why he ran away.' thought Itachi. Then, Naruto disappeared in in a puff of smoke, he was nowhere to be found. Then, Naruto appeared behind then a knocked two of them out then the last was about to knock the last one out but then the man cut Naruto in the arm with his kunai. The man was about to stab Naruto when he was pushed away from Naruto.

"Who the hell did that!?" shouted the man then his eyes widened when he saw Itachi holding Narutos' arm looking at the scratch then Itachi stood up glaring at the man. The man started shaking seeing the angry Uchiha, Uchiha Itachi to be specific. Itachis' sharingan activated and he casted a genjutsu and the man knocking him out. Itachi then erased the three shinobis' memories. He helped Naruto on his feet then said,

"Let's go we're out of here."

"Didn't you say you wanted to see how Konoha is doing?" asked Naruto.

"I've seen enough to know how it's doing." said Itachi.

"Is it because they were being mean to me? It's fine you said you wanted to so just ignore what happened here and-" Naruto was interrupted by another voice.

"Ignore what happened here!? Are you crazy, they were trying to beat you half to death, a kid half to death! It's fine I don't need to visit Konoha." said Itachi angrily trying not to be loud or he'll wake up the three unconscious Konoha nins.

'This kid, he's sneaky and quiet, I couldn't even sense him. From what I see with the shadow clones, he likes pranking people. He's like a fox.'  thought Itachi looked at the boy holding his hand. Then, the two disappeared in a flock of crows.
