As I looked at my phone I saw that Alex had messaged me on Instagram on his finsta which is a private account for our parents not to find
[the texts]
Alex: hey ;)
You:hey Alex what's up?
Alex: my family thinks I'm out with friends tonight because if I tell them they will want to meet you and they are just to embarrassing for you to meet them yet, do your family know your out with me?
You:only my brother and Abuela I think she knows your mom and abuelita
Alex:do they? We'll talk about it later yeah?
You: sure I'll see you in 20 mins?
Alex: bye Rhea ;)
You: bye alex :)
[end of texts]
It takes me about 10 minutes to get to the movies so I went to go and see if my abuela will take me
"Hola, abuela me puedes llevar al cine por favor?"
"sí, por supuesto miha" she answered me back in Spanish (search it up)
"gracias, abuela" I said as I hugged her
We left btw Mateo was with us, we left abuela dropped me off a block from the movies so she could actually park the car I said goodbye and headed to meet Alex by the front of the movies and I got there I saw him on his phone taking pictures of himself most probably for his main account for his mom as I got there he saw me and smiled
"Hey, Rhea" he smiled at me
"Hey, Alex nice shoes" I said as we both laughed
"Should we?" He said Gesturing his hands to the front of the doors for the movies
I just smiled and walked in and he grabbed my had so our hands were interlocked I smiled at him
"Is it okay?" He asked with a smile
"Yes, of course" I said holding his hand back as we walked in and payed, I saw him take a picture of us holding hands and I just smiled as we went into the dark room for the movie.
Half way through the movie Alex put his arm around me I looked at him and kissed his cheek which made him smile at me
"I'm glad we met in the hallway," he whispered to me
"And I'm glad you had nice shoes on," I said with a smile and whispered back, I looked back at the movie and I could see him from the corner of my eye smiling at me so I nudged him for him to watch the movie he just laughed which made me laugh.
After the movie ended me and Alex walked out of the movies and stayed outside it for a bit and talked
"So, Rhea, look I know we've only known each other for like 7 hours but I think I really like you," Alex said looking at me
"Aww Alex I like you too," I said giving him a smile
"Would you like to be my girlfriend or like we say novia,"
I laughed  "si, I would love to"
After I said that he hugged me
"So we a secret from everyone or just your family until they calm down?" I said to him with a smirk and my hands still around his neck
He laughed at me "we can tell our friends and your family but mine are loco when it comes to me having a girlfriend so how about we just wait until I see how my mom is with my sisters girlfriend and her having 'it'"
"Oh your sister is lesbian?" I said with a surprised look
"Yeah, it took the family some time but they excepted her," he said to me
"Well that's cool, I don't really know what to say to that but it really doesn't matter if she's happy does it?"
"Yeah I guess, let's change the subject, uh how about this," he said then he kissed me and I kissed back and we made out a bit then I pulled away
"Hey, I got to go my abuela is making her 'secret' recipe for us tonight and I got to babysit Mateo so I'll see you in school tomorrow?" I said with a smile
He smiled at me"Sure, meet me by the stairs first thing?"
"Sure bye," I said and pecked his lips and walked away.
As I walked to where my abuela told me she was going to pick me up I saw the car and got in
"Hey, abuela... and mom... wait mom what you doing here?!" I said confused (btw your moms name is carmen)
Your mom says"Your Abuela told me you were on a date and didn't tell me? Why?"
"Well you were in work when i had to leave so I asked abuela to tell you when you go home, she said you know his mom, Penelope Alvarez?" I asked her
"Penelope? No I know his father Victor Alvarez Penelopes ex," my mom told me I just nodded in silence
"So you and Alex?" She said smirking
"No mami don't go there please, I'll tell you tomorrow after school, but I'll tell you one thing, we kissed!" I said with a smile on my face thinking about him
"Oh lala miha do you like this boy?" She said with a look
"Mhmm ill tell you tomorrow?" I said with a smile
We drove back to the house and I went straight to my room to phone grace
Ring.....Ring.....Ring
"Hola, Rhea how was you fecha" grace said through the phone
"Well..we kissed and he asked me to be his novia" I said with a smile
"HE DID WHAT! YESS I ENVÍO!" She said shouting
I laughed "yeah well I got to go call papi and his esposa de paso" I said rolling my eyes
"Okay, adiós" she said I think smiling
"Adiós,mejor amiga," I said before hanging up and leaving my room
"Mateo! We need to call papi and Madison from Portugal!" I said shouting coming out of my room (btw Mateo is 13)
"Okay,abuela wanted me," he said coming into the living room where I am now sat on the couch setting up the laptop to call papi. Me and papi don't have the best relationship anymore since he moved away with Madison, and I don't mind Madison but she can be a real white girl when she wants to be but she's cool I guess she like mom but we call her the cheap version that the Martinez's for you.
Ring....Ring....Ring
"Hey papi!" I said with a smile and waved at him
"Ahh hello! Rhea and papito," he said looking really tired
"Oh hello children" we hear a voice in the background which was madisons obviously
"Hey Madison," Mateo said looking happy but I know he hates her
"Uh papi abuela is already talking about my quinces but I'm not 15 yet! Tell her," I said whining
He laughed "miha, she want you to have an amazing quinces but you have it a couple days after your birthday and your birthdays is in 2 months so I would get ready to be bombarded by your abuela"
"But papi, it's annoying," I said rolling my eyes
"Kids it's time for bed, hey Tristan I'm sorry but they have to go to bed,Rhea has a test and Mateo has baseball," my mami said to my papi
"It's okay carmen, I get it, kids I'll call you tomorrow,"
"Bye papi," me and Mateo said in sync
"Bye kids," he said as I hung up on him
"Goodnight kids," my mom said as she kissed our temples
"Night, mami," I said and went to my room and went to sleep
