IT WAS THE DAY
of christmas eve,
some families usually spend it
on the 25th but marisol's family
always celebrates on the 24th
with mariano's family.

she didn't seem too happy
about having to see the guy
she used to be friends with
instead of the guy
she's been talking to these past weeks.

jonah couldn't be able to spend
christmas with marisol cause of
his family's trip to LA
who knows when they would be back.

as her family came back
from the grocery store
they started setting up the table.

for a bit before getting called downstairs.

called her down
she hugged mariano's parents but

sitting down in the living room,
he sat next to her waiting for his girlfriend
to finish setting the table.

the boy stayed in shock
his best friend has never cussed
at him so why now.
why was it such a big deal
he stopped hanging out with
his friends because of his girlfriend.
