It was a cold winter evening, it was snowing outside and you were running out of firewood took keep you and your family warm, your mom asks you for you and your brother to get more fire wood before it started snowing even more, you agree and put on your sweater and your boots and head outside with your older brother

Your brother smirks at you and says "Hey can a friend of mine tag along? He is really shy but I feel like he'd be a good friend of yours. You both hate people, so that's a good start.... You stare at your brother for a second "Why are you even inviting him along with us if he hates people?" "Because i'm your big brother..." "That's not a real ansewer" "It is to me" "Fine, I guess we can stop by"

You and your brother go try to convince his friend to hang out with you guys, he does, but you can tell he doesn't want to be here.... One of his noticable features are his eyes, you find them lovely... "Ohh yeah, he's trying to make friends so I thought you guys would be okay friends..." "Okay?"

You notice him look down and try not to make eye contact with anyone, he looks very nervous and it kinda makes you feel bad for him. You guys make it to the town and buy some firewood, You drop the firewood in the snow after feeling your fingertips numb up.... You warm your hands first and pick up the firewood. You look up and realize your brother and his friend are gone

"Damnit" you mutter to yourself, You try to remember where home could be or a near by town. Then you realize your lost, you start to overthink a little and try looking for a direction of where home could be but stop trying knowing your going to get lost... You hear footsteps from behind you, you turn around to see who it was but no one was there... You drop your firewood again and pick it up then hear a voice tell you something... "Here you dropped this" As your crouching down trying to pick up firewood you look up to see the same guy your brother is friends with

You get startled and drop the rest of the wood, you look at your hands and notice they've become red, "Are you okay?" You look up and see your brothers friend, "I-" "I just got lost and I'm trying to find my brother and your his friend... But how did you find me?" He looks at you but doesn't speak, just handing you firewood. You take it from him and touch his hand, he quickly pulls away from you and blushes a slight bit.

"Ohh I'm sorry... did I startle you? All you can hear is him trying to speak but he keeps stuttering.... "It's okay, you don't have to speak, I know you're shy so you don't have to say anything..." He looks up at you and slightly smiles at you which makes you feel warm. He helps you pick up the rest of the firewood and

helps you home, "Hey, Umm.. I-" You get startled hearing him speak and look at him for a second? "So... umm," "You seem like a nice person..." You stop for a second and continue walking "You seem pretty nice
