IT WAS QUITE BETWEEN THE TWO. Malachi didn't know what to say after telling Jax, a darker part of his life, one that he hadn't even told any of the Miller family members or either Alonso.

"I'm sorry." Malachi was the first one to speak, which had made Jax's head snap towards him, shocked. "I shouldn't have told you that. You didn't need to know that." Now he thinks your weak. Which you are.
Jax didn't know what to say, he slowly sunk back to the floor, a few inches away from Kai. They both sat like that for a minute. Jax looked up, seeing how sad Kai looked. I'd rather have my powers taken away then ever see him sad again. "Can I move closer?"
Kai looked up at the question, confused for a moment before nodding. Jax slowly moved closer, in case Kai wanted him at a certain distance. He stopped when his knee touched Malachi's, who gave sad smile.
