Day After Day

I haven't been myself lately.

I'm sorry. I try.

Through the motions I roll,

Day after day.

I act like I'm fine and I'm okay.

Through my eyes you can see the lies.

Through the motions I roll,

Day after day.

You can tell me anything.

I wonder, when is it my turn?

Through the motions I roll

Day after day.

Why don't you care? Why won't you listen?

These are the questions I dare to ponder.

Through the motions I roll

Day after day.

The rain is my tears, thunder my screams

Why won't the storms leave?

Through the motions I roll

Day after day

I haven't been myself lately.

I'm sorry. I try.

Though the motions I roll

Day after day.
