Prelude to The Dark god

I wanted to draw something ended up with this piece of the rogue Amazon, Kalliope!

I hope you like it! Now you know what you're fighting against

And just in time for the main course. Because this is the prelude to this story's most chaotic arc yet, as well as it's last, so I hope you enjoy it!

Themyscira was known to be quite a paradise, from its shores to the views it provided, truly a paradise

However, being the home of some of the planet's greatest warriors did also mean that it had its own dangers

???: HELP, PLEASE!!

From the bushes, a young girl ran towards civilization, afraid for her own life

Behind her, was a wild boar, enraged and swinging its tusks wildly in an attempt to impale her

Fortunately, her cries for help were heard by her sisters, the Amazons

Mere inches from meeting its target,  the boar was stopped by a rope tying its legs together and a swift attack from a spear

The animal was neutralized and the young girl, who was practically curled up in a ball, was saved

???: Kalliope, are you alright? Any wounds?

She looked up to see her older sister standing there with a bloodied spear

Kalliope: A-Alexa?...

The blonde kneeled to offer her hand at the young one, smiling

Alexa: Indeed, sister

She helped her get back up and saw that she was alright save for a few scratches here and there

Kalliope: Thank you. I swear I wasn't looking for any trouble, I was just gathering information in the forest and-

Alexa: It's okay, I understand you have thirst for knowledge, sister

Alexa: What I don't understand is why did you choose to travel alone. You are not fit for combat just yet

Kalliope: I...I know... It's just that you were busy and I'm still not good with a sword or a spear

Alexa: Then we shall start working on that. I know it's scary to you, but Kalliope...

"I won't always be there to protect you"

"Get back here, little piggy!"

The taunting voice echoed through the alleyway

Daggers were being thrown at the fleeing target. This old man, once a powerful wizard, was now the prize for a hunt

An Amazon's hunt

Sweat ran down his scarred face, his heart threatening to jump out of his chest at the horror of his current situation

As he ran through the streets, the man came across a bunch of cars going through as well, so he ran as fast as he could before the vehicles arrived, making some space between him and his hunter

...or so he thought

From her pocket, the Amazon took out a powerful watch. Once a gift, now a stolen gadget, this watch stopped time

Which meant she could walk through the street without a care in the world. When he saw this, the magician's eyes went wide with horror and continued to run away, hardly getting any time to breathe
