A day before
In the gallery Sarawat and Pam together walked around the gallery, observing every piece of art that displayed today, from one painting to another, sometimes they would discuss the meaning of the painting and be immersed in it. They both looked very exciting talking to one another ignored the people in the gallery who besides being busy looking at the artwork were now also busy observing the two of them, made few of young women felt envy to Pam who looked really close with the Prince.
In their conversation, Sarawat looked very enthusiastic because he actually interest in art too especially painting and he also collected some paintings from famous painters and be able to discuss it with the expert it satisfied him moreover she is his own friend. Like when he discussed with Pam about the painting which captured his attention before, a painting with the title "Love by the lake" By Leonid Afremov.
In his opinion, the painting was painted perfectly, it described the atmosphere well, the drizzling rain and the natural coolness of the atmosphere just after the rain. Two-person is seen walking on a street under the umbrella where the street lights are glaring in beautiful colours above them. The wet ground and the leaves falling off the trees and the blue lake beside the street making the atmosphere more romantic and intimate, it shows coolness and warmness in the same time, and the colour that the painter used on every part of the component, it blended perfectly and it could tell that the relationship between the natural and the artificial made the painting felt so real. Such beautiful art.
"What about you, how do you think about this piece of art, I want to know your opinion as an expert," Sarawat asked Pam who also observed the painting in front of her.
"Umm...This painting is one of Leonid Afremov's work, he is one of the renown painters in the world. Afremov painting is known as the evening walk and it depicts the beauty of nature by reflecting the colours of trees, street lights, the lake and the beautiful colour of the sky. In this particular picture, it was created with oil paint on artistic canvas using his unique technique of a palette knife, the three primary colours, red, yellow and blue were used and some other cool colours to signify the colour of nature. Mixed complimentary, decorative, warm and cool colours are used to present this art in the best way. Like you said earlier, it is indeed a very good blend between nature and the artificial. The colour blend was also excellent. The painter was able to paint the night with a fairly light colour. The illusion of the portrait he creates is a very wonderful one".
"Your description and knowledge of the painting very amazed me, it seems you studied well in the university" Sarawat compliment his friend, Pam had an interest in art since childhood, she often tells him about a painting or another piece of art, and because of Pam's brainwashing, Sarawat also interested in painting and started to collect them since high school. They both and Type would attend almost art exhibitions in town.
"I am. I am no an expert" replied Pam confidently making Sarawat rolled his eyes then they laughed together.
When they finished with the painting Sarawat invite Pam to have lunch together with him and Type so they went to the one of a luxury restaurant in Bangkok. During the lunch, they had chat together bringing back their childhood memory they shared together.
