In this part, we'll introduce in three different ways. Introducing yourself, the next person and more than 2 persons.Just like Filipino language, we use ako in describing yourself. For example:
"Ako si Sam"
- I am SamAnd we use also akong when we introduce by our names.
"Akong pangalan kay Sam"
- My name is SamTake note, becareful using those two.
Ako is I'm and akong is my.Now when you introduce your friend, partner or the next person with you, you can introduce him/her by these examples:
"Siya si (name)"
- She is .....
- He is ....."Iyang pangalan kay (name)"
- Her name is .....
- He's name is .....Unlike English, we use siya and iya to describe the next person in both gender.
And if you want to tell the relationship between both of you, you can say by these examples.
Amigo - friend
Asawa - wife
Bana - husband
Kauban - colleague
Uyab - lover, girlfriend & boyfriend
Igsoon - sibling, brother & sister
Mama - mom
Papa - dad"Siya si (name), akong amigo"
- she's/he's (name), my friend"Iyang pangalan kay (name), akong asawa"
- Her name is (name), my wifeWhen you introduce more than 2 persons, you will use sila.
"Sila akong amigo"
- They are my friendsAnd you can use the examples of next person's above when you introduce them one by one.
