^^^I couldn't choose :)

About the Song:

So yes, it is from a musical (podcast) BUT DON'T LET THAT DETER YOU!

It's a really good song with the beautiful voices Jonathan Groff and Jessie Shelton and just the most exquisite composition.

---The Song's Context---

"This three-part musical follows the story of a husband and wife attempting to bring their marriage back from the brink of divorce using 36 revealing questions designed to make strangers fall in love."

This is a song about telling the truth (obviously) but not really knowing what the truth is. I feel like the vibe of it kind of relates because it's the two main characters meeting after years of not seeing each other to finish answering the 36 questions. It's like a scene of closure for both of them.

This is the last song in the show, and I cry every time I listen to it.

okay sorry one last thing, eidetic memories don't remember dreams just like the rest of us. just keep that in mind.

START THE SONG AT

"Why did you leave?"

IT HITS HAAAAAARD I ALMOST STARTED CRYING

Honestly, when the song ends, just restart it, it's that good.

Y O U R   P O V

You had made a total, irreversible mistake.

•~•~•~•~•time skip•~•~•~•~•

It had been nine months. Nine months and you hadn't seen or spoken to Spencer, or anyone on the team for that matter. You hadn't completely quit the FBI, though. After your two-month-long 'vacation,' you moved to New York, working in the FBI field office there. You had explained everything to Hotch – well, to the best of your ability. You asked if he'd recommend you for a simple desk job in New York, and he obliged, telling you how much the team – especially Spencer – would miss you. You doubted that. You doubted that the team would miss you because Spencer had probably told them what happened, and they were probably glad you were gone. You were far away where you couldn't hurt Spencer anymore.
