First Date?

*****************Riley's POV**********************

I think all of the Ryan questions are finished and they are ready for him to come to the wedding now. Only two more months and it's game time. It was actually nice to come home and spend some time here. I got a break from work and got some family time in. Besides the fact of making up another lie of Ryan living with me.

**Phone rings**

"Hello?" I ask.

"Riley! I just finished reading your article and I love it. It's going out tomorrow. Great job. Come see me in my office Monday." Mrs. Truelly said.

"Thanks so much Mrs. Truelly." I replied.

"See you Monday darling." She said and hung up the phone.

That was such a relief. I didn't think she would like that one too much. It was kinda boring and dull.

"Well guys. I'm going to take off now." I said giving everyone a hug.

"Don't be such a stranger. Your welcome to bring that Ryan home before the wedding too." My dad said.

"Okay Okay." I said.

As I finished up with all the hugs and I took off to my car. I texted Ryan to let him know how things were doing.

-I'm heading home now. If that works for you. I'm free tomorrow. Riley

-You free tonight? Ryan

-Yeah if that works. What time? Riley

-How about 8? Ryan

-Yeah works great. Where we meeting? Riley

-Applebee's. Ryan

-Okay. Riley

*************3 hours later***************

I unpacked, showered, cleaned, and got ready now I was on my way inside of Applebee's. I had to tell Ryan about all my new lies and meet his dad. Great! 

"I had two here already." I said to the waiter.

"Go ahead." She replied.

I round the corner past the bar part and there sat Ryan busy on his phone. He had a blue plaid shirt on that made his green eyes look blue and his shaggy dark blonde hair was spiked in the front.

"Hey." I said as I sat down.

"Hey." He replied smiling at me.

"Your dad not here yet?" I asked.

"He couldn't make it. He called last minute and said something came up with his girlfriend." He replied.

"Oh.. Shucks! So it's just us then?" I asked.

"Yeah.. I guess." He replied.

"Well it's a great time for us to start acting as a couple." I replied.

"Yeah." He said smiling at me again.

"Soo.. I think my parent's are fully ready to meet you. I did have to add a few more lies in there." I said quietly.

"What?" He said with a chuckle.

"Well I kinda said we lived together. I told them that we'd been together for 5 months and some other stuff you don't need to know about that thou." I said blushing.

"You said we live together? What are they going to do if they come down for a weekend or something." He said.

"Well they don't come here but we will have to take a few pictures together to make it believeable." I replied.
