Nearrik / Near-rik: A continent filled with primarily shifters. It is divided region in terms of friendliness towards one another, mostly due to the division of the kingdoms and their Hakans. Widad and Wahid, Nearrik's current kingdoms, used to be one kingdom named Makar, until Makar's Hakan died, leaving both Aynur and Caner to fight over the single throne. Now Nearrik has two kingdoms instead of one.
Among Nearrik though, is a free region called Wa'lara (pronounced as it appears). It is run predominantly by scattered clans and their Chiefs (Serkans). They don't have a capitol, but they have meeting grounds in two sibling clans, Il'yara and Il'ar. Decisions are made by a singular Council that includes the voices of most clans and war clans are used for protection.
Two languages are spoken in Nearrik, Nearr and Wa'lakarin. Wa'lakarin is a dialect of Nearr.
