Chapter 21

Kushina was pacing back and forth in the medical room as Shizune sat in the corner. She's been like this since Naruto walked to school with his siblings and Jiraiya, "Please kami, please let him be okay," Kushina prayed

"I-I'm sure he'll be fine, Kushina-sama," Shizune said, "he'll be back home safe and sound by 3, I'm sure of it,"

"I hope you're right," Kushina mumbled as the door to Tsunade's office opened up

"Glad to see you made it," Tsunade crossed her arms, holding a paper in one of her hands

"What is it, you old bag? Can't you see I've got some... 'parenting' to do?!" Kushina shouted, pausing on the word parenting to emphasize it

"You were going to spy on Naruto on his first day of school, weren't you?" Tsunade deadpanned, causing Kushina to blush

"N-No I wasn't," she fiddled with her fingers as she turned away

"*Sigh* That aside, that's not why I asked you to come today," Tsunade leaned against her door frame

"Well? Spit it out!" Kushina screamed as Tsunade looked around the room. She then ushered both women into her room and locked the door behind them. Making sure it was secure, Tsunade took a deep breath and looked at Kushina, "I was wrong,"

"... Eh?" Kushina raised an eyebrow, giving Tsunade a questionable look

"I overlooked something... when Naruto was born," Tsunade handed Kushina the paper she was holding. Looking down at the said paper, Kushina read it over and over again to understand what she was reading, "What the hell is MSTN?" Kushina asked

"MSTN, also known as Myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy, is a condition that reduces body fat and increases muscle size," Tsunade explained, "to put it simply... his muscle density is now nearly 40 times higher than the average person,"

"EXCUSE YOU?!" Kushina shouted, "HOW?! WHEN?! WHY?!"

"SHUT UP!" Tsunade shouted back, growing a tick mark on her forehead, "I was getting to that part!"

"S-sorry," Kushina whispered, "I-I'm just... *sigh* it's a mother's job to worry about her children. And now you're telling me that my baby boy has- what was it?"

"Myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy?"

"Yes! That!" Kushina pointed at Tsunade, "What's going to happen to him? How did this happen to him!?"

"That's the thing... I don't know," Tsunade stated. The Senju woman walked to her desk, rubbing her temples as she pulled out a bottle of sake, "Tsunade-sama, should you re-"

"Of course!" Tsunade interrupted Shizune

"S-Sorry!" Shizune bowed, leaving the medic-nin to drink

"I have no idea where it came from," Tsunade shook her head, "it just popped out of nowhere! Like he just 'evolved' into a 'monster',"

"Don't you ever use that word to describe my Naruto ever again," Kushina threatened, but Tsunade scoffed

"Well, it's true! Not only that, take a look at this!" Tsunade pulled out a remote. A TV dropped down with some pictures on it... pictures of Naruto's skull. But what interested Kushina the most... was what the metal inside of Naruto's skull was doing. Tsunade then took out a laser pointer and pointed at the largest of the metal fragments, poking out of his skull, "The metal is actually binding with his body!" Tsunade said

"H-How did you get these?" Kushina asked

"I used an x-ray Jutsu and spent hours drawing them," Tsunade retorted, "but that's for later. What I'm more concerned with is the fact that his body is currently binding with the metal. Look at what I found around the largest of the metal shards!" the Senju woman then pushed a button on the TV remote, showing a picture of small, tiny blood vessels forming on the metal shard poking out of Naruto's forehead

"W-What's it doing?" Kushina questioned

"It's becoming a horn-like protrusion rather than a metal shard. If this continues, I'm afraid Naruto is going to have 'living metal' in his body,"

"H-How is this possible?"

"I'VE BEEN ASKING MYSELF THIS SINCE I FUCKING FOUND OUT! FIRST MSTN AND NOW HIS BODY IT TURNING METAL INTO BONE!" Tsunade screamed at the top of her head, smashing her desk with a single punch, "I FUCKING HATE THIS!"

Somewhere Else:

Naruto was currently doing a hand-stand as he was reading a math book, "Uhh, Guy-sensei? Did you hear something?"

"Hear what? The sound of youth? Yes, I did!" Guy replied as he too was doing a hand-stand while reading the same book, "But for now, we'll be doing some youth of our own! Now, listen closely! For your first lesson, I'll be teaching you how to multiply and divide fractions! Firstly, the top number is called the numerator and the bottom number is called the denominator." Guy managed to write upside down on a chalkboard. Naruto already felt like going to sleep as he tried to listen to Guy,

"Now let's say, for example, we have to multiply 2/5 by 4/9. First, multiply the two numerators, the top numbers, to get the numerator of the answer. Then multiply the two denominators, the bottom numbers, to get the denominator of the answer. Add the answers to both problems, place them where they belong, and you get... 8/45! Isn't math fun?!" Guy explained as he looked behind him to see Naruto give a nod

"Y-Yup, Guy-Sensei, 'fun'," Naruto answered

"Great! Now we'll go over this a few more times, I'll give a piece of paper to write on, give you some problems, and you can turn it into me! Then we'll move onto reading! I've got us a really special book titled: 'The Generous Man: How Helping Others is the Sexiest Thing You Can Do', to tie into Health Class!"

"Oh kami, what have I gotten myself into?" Naruto mumbled as Guy continued teaching.

Later:

Guy was stretching out on the field as Naruto was copying him, "What are we doing, Guy-Sensei?" Naruto asked

"Gym class, my boy!" Guy replied, hopping into the air and getting into a fighting stance, "I'll be your opponent! The best to learn is to experience it! Plus, you'll be working on all your muscle groups! Now come! Show me your youth!" he shouted as Naruto smirked. After Naruto was done stretching, he lowered himself to the ground, spreading out his feet and placing his hands in front of him. Squatting as he eyed Guy, Naruto rushed at his sensei, the ladder waiting for the attack. Naruto got closer as Guy smiled, took a step to the right, and swung his left leg at Naruto's head.

The young boy leaned forward, barely managing to dodge the kick. Throwing a punch at Guy's inner-thigh, the green-clad man jumped into the air and landed on Naruto's arm, "So far so good! But you can do better!" Guy said as slowly went to kick Naruto in the head, 'I can't go all out on him, I wanna see what he can do first,'

"I'm just testing ya, sensei!" Naruto replied, grabbing the kick and pulling Guy to the ground

'Grappling?!' Guy thought in alarm as Naruto's grip tightened around his foot. Guy then felt a decent amount of weight on his leg as he saw Naruto was going for a leg-lock. Quickly going into a hand-stand, Guy planned to slam Naruto into the ground, not enough to hurt him but enough to cause him to let go. But before he could do so, Naruto hopped off him and landed on his hands. Naruto used the momentum from the small hop and spun on his hand, delivering a powerful kick to Guy. Despite the fact Guy was caught off guard, he blocked it last second with his knee, 'Naruto is strong, but he's got a long way to go,' Guy thought as he then performed a leg sweep, knocking Naruto onto the ground and jumping on top of him, placing his fist against Naruto's chin, "You did well!"

"Thanks?" Naruto replied as he was helped up

"Hey, Lunch is going to be starting soon, head back inside without me, okay?" Guy instructed

"What about you?"

"I've got something to do. I'll meet you after lunch," Guy said with a smile as Naruto slowly, but surely left. When Naruto was gone, Guy turned to his right and saw a pay-phone. Walking up to it, he put in the right amount of coins and dialed a number. He heard ringing until it was picked up, "Hello? This is Bang's Dojo, Bang speaking,"
