Title: And They Were Roommates
You landed in the city of Minsk and took a taxi to your new place of residence. You walked up a few flight of stairs and opened the door with the keys the landlord gave you.
The place looked dull and deserted. Which was kinda great, because that left you an empty canvas to change it however you see fit. Of course, there was couches and all the other appliances one would need in a day to day life.
You threw yourself on the couch and sighed as you allowed yourself to relax. Those flight of stairs took a toll on you. Not only that buy the fatigue from travel finally got to you, and you fell asleep.
You awoke to the sound of foot steps hitting the wooden floor. Your eyes flutter open to the sight of a woman with grayish blonde hair accompanied with a dark blue bow and a matching dark blue dress. It looked as if she had just climbed in from the window. Too shocked to scream for help, you just sat up on the couch with cold sweat. She turned from the window to you. For a split second she screeched at you and that caused you to scream in terror.
"Who are you?" You asked, you stood up and slowly started to walk to the door with you facing her.
"I live here" she said, and hissed at you. Did she just hiss at me?
"Oh-uhh..I'm your new roommate, I guess?" You said to her, now feeling the air of awkwardness in the room. She only glares at you as she dusts herself off. This girl is weird.
"Don't touch my things, don't touch me, and don't talk to me unless absolutely necessary-" she says as she walks to what may be her room,
"Oh and, another thing" she stops and turns to you at her door,
"Don't be too loud at night. Good day" she says before slamming her bedroom door to a stunned you. She seems friendly.
Over time, you got to know your sunshine of a roommate bit by bit everyday. For starters, her name is Natalya. You don't know much about her job but she works closely with the government. She concerningly loves her older brother, and her relationship with her older sister seems indifferent from what you can tell. On the days when you're off from work, you'd see her leave for work as early at 6 in the morning, then come back in the afternoon, leave at night then the next day, you'd see her come out of her room at 6 to repeat. It was weird to you, to say the least. How does she get enough sleep? No, does she even get sleep? It's no wonder she's got those bags under her eyes and that oh-so-charming attitude. You frowned. You couldn't do much, for she wouldn't let you get close to her.
One fine afternoon, you got off from work and Natalya is out somewhere, so now you had the apartment for yourself. Natalya wouldn't let you go in her room, and you being bored as you were, got up from the couch and headed to her room. I won't touch anything, I'll just have a quick look around is all.
You opened the door to her room, and in it was a plain bed, a dresser, a desk and a chair. There was also a window covered with a plain gray curtain. You opened the curtain to let in a bit of light and, saw a book on her desk. You seated yourself by the desk and opened to the first page of the book. It's Natalya's diary.
The first page was about her boss's work and a bunch of creepy note-worthy things about her brother. The next few pages were like that. Till you saw your name.
"Dear diary,
Today I've gotten a new roommate. I think it was, Y/n? Anyways, I don't like em. But atleast with the rent being shared, I can use the spare money for better equipment to stalk big brother."
